The Past - Episode 1
"Am not going to abort this baby again. This is going to be the fifth abortion. Never again will I allow this to happen", said Grace to David. He had insisted on an abortion again this time. Grace Amos was a third year student in Lagos State University. She was an accounting student. The first in a family of five. Her parents were Mr . & Mrs. Olatunji Amos. Her dad was a medical doctor and her mom was a business tycoon. David, on the other hand, was a final year student of the same university with Grace. He was the last in a family of seven. His parent were Mr. & Mrs. Adeyemi Francis. Both were lawyers. Grace and David were both lovers right from Grace's year one. They were known to be lovers in the university since they both lived together in the same apartment that David had rented off campus.
Growing up with her parent, Grace had never seen or known what family
togetherness was all about. Her father had a second wife. It was from
one war to another all day. Though, a christian home, they never knew
who Christ was not to talk of accepting him into their lives.
Grace was now pregnant for David and he had insisted on a abortion.
She had had four abortions already an was not willing to have the

. The doctor had warned her never to try aborting again.
She remembered the doctor's warning "Please madam don't ever try this
again. Your life is at stake. Please just try and stay safe". She had
left his office that day promising not to repeat it again. But here
she was with the fifth pregnancy.
"Please baby, you just have to remove this thing to avoid shame",
David was pleading now and holding her hands.
"I told you what the doctor said after the last one. I almost lost my
life remember. I can't risk that again", she said.
