The God And His Bride - Episode 30

 

Mila/Milo. 

"You must understand that she does not know what she did Alixi"

I say, trying to plead my best friend who is like a sister to me's case.

Alixi does not say a word and I'm baffled, baffled at how my majesty looks and sound tamed, not at all like the fire breathing dragon he is. 

"What exactly did she do?" Jeter asks, reclined on a sofa, looking too cool for comfort. 

I slice a look at him, hating him at that instant, hating the fact that it's plain for everyone to see that Star likes him, that my majesty is hurting for a love that this man has. 

When I decided to guide the goddess of Alixi I didn't know I would become this attached to her, to hers, I became selfish and did not want to let go, but now I'm seeing my mistake, I didn't get her ready for my majesty, I befriended her and hers, I let her do things and now, and now she's in love with the twin, the other twin, the one who shouldn't covet the bride of the God, the prophecy is coming to pass, it's just like in the past, I'm doing nothing to stop it. 

I screwed up. 

I hear the tingling of bells, a sure sign that Maia, my sister just entered into this realm., my eyes go to Alixi,wondering if he's going to do anything, I look again, he looks stressed, Alixi never looks stressed. 

I feel bad, this is all my fault. 

"Are you going to leave my house?" Jeter asks and Alixi does not respond. 

He looks focused, probably trying to figure out where Maia is going to. 

The tingling of bells sound again and this time it's signal is of her leaving. 

I frown, Maia came into the realm, not to see Alixi but to do what? 

Of course, to speak to Star. 

But, about what? What did she say? 

"You must get her" I say. 

Jeter frowns. 

"Get who? Are you guys going to leave? I hate intruders" 

"Shut up Lucca" 

"Bite me Milo" 

Gods, I just remembered how much I hated him, how much he makes my skin crawl, how did he ever get past me? I know I suppressed my powers but how? How did he did his real identity so well? Is it because of the fact that he changed skins? Got reborn? 

Alixi suddenly puffs out of view, I blink at the empty seat where he once was and I wonder where he's gone. 

"Where did he go?" 

"Like I would ever tell you anything about my Majesty" 

"Yes, yes, I remember now, you were always a loyal dog, Milo the dog of Alixi" 

"Say that again" I growl, calling up the power within me. 

"Milo, Alixi's dog" I stand up, feeling my wings trying t break free but before I could teach this pathetic hobo of a god a lesson Alixi puffs into view, with Star.

"You kidnapped me!" She screams at him, a little dramatically. 

"You were not cooperative, I had to move you" 

"Take me home, you are the last person I want to see, all of you" She says her eyes taking us in and my heart wrenches. 

She's just angry, she will forgive me soon enough. 

"We must talk Star" I say 

"Why are you talking like them?" She asks, pinning her silver eyes on me. 

"I... What?" 

"You just said we must talk star not, Star we have to talk"  

"There's a difference?" 

"Yes, you are acting like them" 

"I'm one of them" I say softly, taking in the hurt in her eyes. 

"Just like you" I say again, very softly. 

"No, I'm human, I'm normal" 

"You know that's not true Star, you know that will never be true" I say and she looks desperate.. 

"is that why you lied to me?" Are we going to do this now? 

"Is that why you are over there with these people why I'm standing over here, you are choosing teams?" 

She asks, clearly pointing out the difference between our positions, I know how this must look to her. 

Seems we are doing this now. 

"There are no teams star" I say and I watch the guys eyes swing between us. 

"Why didn't you tell me?" she says. 

Guess we are really doing this here. 

"I told you about everything, every single thing about me, you didn't trust me enough to tell me? Did you think I would hate you? Or wait? You didn't think I didn't have to know? Because you are a goddess or something?" 

"It's not because of that.." I begin

"Then what is it? Why? Why won't you explain yourself? You want me to forgive you but you are being tight-lipped I won't understand if you don't say anything" she says and I see the tears shining in her eyes. 

Alixi moves, coming to stand beside her, Jeter does so too and she looks at the both of them with pure disgust. 

"Leave me alone! Why won't you all just let me be?! Leave me alone, stop crowding me!" She screams and the summons begins, pulling me, pining me. 

"Star!" I scream 

"Don't call me! Leave me! I'm tired of all this! Leave me the hell be!" She screams again and the pain lashes at me. 

As the bride of a good, as the goddess of all gods star has made summons from her pain, asking the universe to send us back to where we came from. 

Since she is the bride of Alixi, the blessed, the one who commands the God of Gods, the universe must obey and send us back. 

With force if need be. 

The only exception of this will be Alixi. 

"Sona" Alixi starts. 

"Why don't you guys get it, I'm not your Sona, I'm not yours, leave me!" She screams again and I do too, when the pain pulls me trying to drag me through the veil separating the two realms. 

Jeter grunts, the pain dragging him too. 

"See! See, Star, see what you are doing!" Alixi shouts at her, clamping his hands around her mouth, her eyes flashes and she turns her eyes to me. 

I must look a sight, on the floor, trying to breath through the pain. 

My eyes goes to hers and she looks demented. 

Oh gods.
