What just happened? Michael whispered as he glanced back at Jessie's door,

I have never felt anything like that before,

 what was that? He said as he could literally hear his heart beating fast 

He rested his hand on the wall trying to balance himself  when  he heard a door clicked opened he looked up and saw his friend Raguel watching him 

He straighten up quickly while giving Raguel a tiny smile as he hurried downstairs, he was just not in the mood for Raguel's questions.

 

I need space to think, Michael said as he head for the front door, he flashed his wings immediately he made it outside, he took a deep breath before he fly.

 

Jessie was standing by the window, her skin still tingles from where Michael touched her,

this is so messed up she said to herself 

I have not  felt like this in a long time, 

Why now? She asked herself

I really need to find my sister and get out of this place,

I don't need to be feeling this way towards an Angel who probably have a soulmate somewhere, 

Jessie sigh as she crossed her arms I need to get a grip of myself, no more talking with Michael I need to focus on the reason why I'm here

Yes, that's what I will do, she added as she moved to her bed and lay down she turn around until she got a comfortable position before she drift off 

 

She  later  heard a knock on her door which  pulled her out of her sleep,

she grumble a little before she stood up from the bed to answer the door 

Hi, Elena said

Hey, Jessie replied while yawning 

Sorry to disturb you, Elena said 

It's not a problem, Jessie said with a smile 

Do you want something? Jessie asked 

It's dinner time, Elena said 

"Already" Jessie asked as she look around and saw the time

"Yes" Elena said with a smile 

I really slept for long, she said 

I will be down in a minute she added 

" Okay", we will be waiting, Elena said 

Alright Jessie said as she watch Elena leave before she shut the door 

I will see him downstairs, Jessie whispered 

Not to worry, I will just act normal and dinner will be over soon and I will come back to my room she said trying to reassure herself 

She went to the bathroom, she watched her face before she head downstairs 

 

When she got downstairs, her eye's search for Michael but he was no where to be seen, a part of her felt relief and a bigger part of her felt disappointed

She sat down and dish her food inside her plate as she started eating 

Where could he be? She asked herself 

She quickly shook the thought out of her, 

It's none of my business and I don't care she said to herself 

"Liar" a voice spoke in her head which she ignored 

She eat quietly as she watched some of the family members interact with themselves as they eat 

She glanced at Grey, she still could not believe he is a demon, looking at him now he does not even look like one of those heartless demon's that took her sister he is so different from them 

She averted her eyes from him as she continue eating when she heard Raguel spoke 

Do you need more  food Jessie? Raguel  asked

Jessie looked at Raguel before she nodded her head slowly 

Did Michael say anything to him? Jessie asked herself 

I really hope not, I don't want people in my business she muttered as she continue eating 

After dinner she helped with the dishes before she left for her room 

She went to bathroom and took a quick shower and head directly for her bed 

 

She heard a knock on her door and her heart rate speed up 

Is it Michael? She asked herself as she did not even answer the questiom in her mind before she opened the door but to her disappointed it was Raguel standing outside her door

 

Hey, Raguel said 

Hi, Jessie said trying not to sound disappointed

I just want to let you know that Michael did not really say anything about you, Raguel said 

I did not say he said anything, Jessie replied 

I know, Raguel said but I saw the way you look at me when I ask you if you wanted more food, he added 

I know,Jessie sigh I actually thought he did she finally admitted 

Even though her mind was actually telling her that Michael will never do such a thing she chose to ignore it 

Michael it's not like that, Raguel said, you can trust him, he added 

"Okay" Jessie said 

Raguel turned to leave but Jessie stop him

Wait! She said 

Raguel turned to look at her

"Yes" he said waiting for her to speak 

Jessie shook her head, " nothing" she said 

" Good night" she said 

"Good night" Raguel said as he left for his room 

She shut her door and rested her back on the door,

she wanted to ask Raguel about Michael but she later decided against it 

"Bad idea" she muttered 

She made her way back to her bed she lay down as her mind drifted to her sister 

"Please be safe" she whispered 

She roll on her bed for sometime before she  finally drift off to sleep 

 

Raguel made his way downstairs instead of his bedroom 

He saw his father Raphael sitting on the couch 

Hi dad, Raguel said as he sat next to his father 

Hey, Raphael said giving his son a smile 

What's up? Raphael asked 

Why are you not in bed with Elena? Raphael asked 

I'm worried about Michael, Raguel said 

He never keeps late night he added 

I know, Raphael said 

I really want to wait up for him so I could talk to him, Raguel said 

Don't wait for him,  I will wait up for him, Raphael suggested 

Are you sure dad, Raguel asked 

Yes, I will try to talk to him, Raphael added 

Go be with Elena, Raphael said as he urged Raguel to his feet 

Good night dad, see you in the morning, Raguel added as he walked upstairs 

Good night son, Raphael said as he rest his back on the couch 

 

Michael later return home and he was glad when he did not see anybody in the living room he closed the door quietly

Sneaking into your own house, Raphael said crossing him arms 

"Jesus" Michael muttered as he placed his hand on his chest 

You scared me Ralph, Michael said as he straighten up 

That's what you get when you are sneaking around, Raphael said 

I was not sneaking, Michael said 

You are not a good liar Michael, Raphael said 

Let's sit, Raphael said as he walk to the couch with Michael closely behind him 

Michael was so how grateful it was Raphael who saw him and not his son Raguel,

well Raguel  is  not really Raphael biologically father but he was the one who raised Raguel when they were still in heaven.

Angel's are not suppose to know their biologically parent's,

once they are born another Angel take up the responsibility to look after them until they are old enough to care for themselves 

Heaven thinks having their biologically parents take care of them will cause a great distraction for them and it will keep them away from their Angelic duties 

Hence baby Angel's are raised by Elder Angels who are not their parents 

Michael sigh softly as he sat down next to Raphael 

How are you doing son? Raphael asked 

Michael always likes it when Raphael refer to him as "son" 

I miss hearing those words and it's entirely my fault why I don't get to hear them, he said to himself 

No, I'm not going to think about that now, he said as he took a deep breath before he answer Raphael's question 

I'm fine, he finally said 

Raphael titled his head and look at Michael 

Raguel is so much like him, if one did not know they would have thought he was Raguels biologically father 

Are you sure? Raphael asked 

Yes, Michael said 

You know, you never used to stay out this late before, 

Where were you? Raphael asked 

At the field, Michael replied 

Raphael nodded his head as he kept quiet for a minute 

Is there something bothering you? Raphael asked 

Michael wanted to say "no" but he could  even bring himself to lie to Ralph 

"Yes" he finally admitted 

Do you want to talk about it? Raphael asked 

"No", Michael said 

He does not fully understand what is happening to him but he wants to figure it out himself before he talked to anyone 

Okay, Raphael said 

Just know you can tell anything, he added as he pat Michael's back a little before he stood up the couch and left leaving Michael sitting alone in the living room 

Michael closed his eyes as he rested his back on the couch
