An hour later she walked out of the bathroom in a cute pink dress that complemented her perfectly. "So my son tells me he gave you an offer."
"He just threw an idea..."
"Would you be open to staying and being part of our family?"
"What's the catch?"
"No catch."
"Uh-huh. There's always a catch," she says rolling her eyes.
"Fine . Keep your mouth shut and my son company. Anyone here asks you who you are, you are my daughter and no matter what you see or hear, you can never tell anyone but me. Do that and you'll have anything you need. Deal?"
"Anything I here about what?"
"First give me an answer then I'll tell you. Otherwise, pick the rest of your stuff and leave."
"You want me to commit without first getting the full details?"
"You'll have to trust me!"
"I don't even know you." He laughs at that.
"Price of doing business."
She thinks for a while. It's not like she had too many options but something about this deal seemed too good to be true. It felt like she was about to sell her soul to the devil

"Fine. I'm in," she says after a while. Somehow, she didn't feel relieved. If anything, she felt like life as she knew it was over and at the time, she had no idea just how right she was.
"Welcome to the family," Amin tells her smiling. It would be nice to have someone to hung out with. Someone who truly understood what it was like to live this life. Amir watches his son and smiles. He had made the right decision.

"Haditya... I like it," Amin says to lighten the mood.
" I guess it's alright. But I still prefer my name, Olivia Jewels."
"I can call you Jay. To always remind you who you are."
"Deal."
