So sorry guys for the repitation of episode 18 this is episode 19

Stacey was very much relieved of the fact that she is no longer getting married to Mark, even though she excepted Jack to have shown more interest, she wasn't angry.

She decided to go round town, and since Jack was around, she decided to go call him to drive her.

On getting to his room, just by the door, she heard jack and John discussing, so she decided to stay quiet to know what it was about.

But unluckily for her, she couldn't hear a single thing, because their voices were low, so she decided to go in.

She got in and met them discussing, and she apologized for interrupting them.

She greeted them, and said, Jack i want to go out, she said smiling at him, OK Stacey, just give me few minutes to get ready, I will join you soon, he replied.

Immediately Stacey left the room, John rushed up to Jack and said, my guy, this na the perfect time to tell her how u feel about her oo, so no dull, my guy, I go try my best, replied Jack as he continued getting ready.

When he was done, he went downstairs to go meet her, he opened the passenger's side, and ushered her in, while he went to the driver's side.

. Immediately they settled in the car, Stacey told him to take her to any nice restaurant.

The drive to the restaurant was a quiet one, immediately they got to the restaurant and came down from the car, three gun men was waiting for them, but Jack was too slow to get his gun, because he did not plan for it.

One of the men knocked him on the head with his gun, and he passed out, they quickly put him inside the vehicle, along with Stacey.

Stacey could not scream because she was already too weak from the endless tears she has shed, thinking they have killed Jack.

Not quite long after the men left them, Jack regained consciousness.

Ahh jack, you are awake, said Stacey, who was smiling weakly, knowing that Jack was OK.

She helped him up, how long have i been unconscious, he asked, I guess for about 3hours, replied Stacey.

How on earth did i let this happen, i am suppose to protect you, that's why am being paid, that's why i am your bodyguard, how could i have been so recklessly, Jack lamented bitterly.

Jack, can you please stop, it's nobody's fault that we are in this place, nobody planned for this to happen, so please calm down, said Stacey.

In the other room where the kidnappers were resting, the leader of the gang's phone rang, ahh its chief, he said to his boys, he quickly picked and put the phone on speaker.

Hello boss, he said,how did it go, I hope you succeeded asked chief Daniel, yes sir we did, we have the both of them locked up in one of the rooms, replied the leader of the gang.

That's very good, said chief Daniel, make sure you keep your eyes on them, I don't want to hear useless stories, he said, because the boy with her, I heard he is very smart, so please watch out, he said, he didn't wait for a reply before he ended the call.

Guys, u heard what chief said, we have to make sure that nothing goes wrong, said the leader of the gang.

So tell me, how did it go, asked Mr Okafor who has been waiting patiently for Mr Daniel to end the call, and tell him how the operation went.

It's really getting late said Mrs Adekunle, why are they not back yet, she spoke in a worried tone, she went to the window to check for any sign of them, but there was none.

Calm down honey, don't give yourself heart attack because of Jack and Stacey, they will be back soon, said chief Adekunle. OK honey, if you say so, let me sit still and wait patiently for them to return.

As soon as she settled on her seat, Mr Adekunle's began to ring.. Honey check who is calling, is it Jack or Stacey, said Mrs Adekunle, waiting for her husband to pick the call.

Hello, who is this, said chief into the phone, chief listening carefully, we have your daughter and her bodyguard here with us, they are in our custody, spoke the leader of the grang.

What!! Exclaimed Mr Adekunle, what is it asked Mrs Adekunle, as she rose up to her feet.

Please don't hurt my daughter, what is it you want, chief asked with a pleading voice. At this point, Mrs Adekunle was already crying, because she knew her daughter was in trouble.

Well chief, what you have to do to get back your daughter and her bodyguard is very easy, said the leader of the gang.

Please just state your price said chief as he kept pacing up and down.

I want you to step down from governorship election, said the caller.

What do you mean by that, replied chief, that is not possible.

That means you don't value your daughter's life, said the leader of the gang. We give you two to comply to our demands, unless you want your daughter dead, and the call went dead.

Mr Adekunle sat on his seat with a worried face, his wife came to where he was seated and asked, who was that, what did they say, she asked.

It was the kidnappers, they have our daughter and Jack, and the only way they are go to set them free, is by me stepping down from the governorship election, he replied.

Oh my God, this is not happening, said Mrs Adekunle, as she began crying and lamenting.

Please calm down honey, we will figure this out, replied her husband.

How do you mean we will figure this out, the kidnappers gave us two days, what can we do within this short time, she said still crying.

Chief sent for John, and narrated everything to John.

John was shocked, that he could not speak for some few minutes.

Wen he finally came back to his mind, he said, chief, who do you suspect could be behind the kidnap, no one John, my head is blank.

Let me go back to my room, while we think of what to do, please ma stop crying, all will be fine, said John, to Mrs Adekunle.

Immediately John got to his room, he brought out his phone from his pocket, and called precious.

Precious began to cry as she heard the news, all the efforts to try and calm her down by John proved abortive, so he had to let her be.

While precious was still crying, her mother walked in.

As soon as precious noticed the presence of her mother, she tried to hide her tears.

Are you alright my child, yes mum am fine replied precious, Well i have been trying to reach Jack, but his line is not going through, said her mum. I just hope he is fine.

Precious could not hold the tears any longer, as she started crying.

What is it precious, why are you crying asked her mum in a teary voice.

Mum, Jack has been kidnapped, along side Stacey, John called me and he told me,she said.

Her mother burst into uncontrollable tears, as she started rolling on the floor. Mum, please stop crying, everything will be fine, said precious who was still crying.

Back in the locked room, Jack was pacing back and forth, thinking of possible ways to get them out of there. Jack, could you please calm down said Stacey as she walked up to him.

Calm down you say? How do you expect me to calm down, when the one ought to protect you is locked up with you, he said, Am very worried about you, he continued.

If anything should happen to you, i don't know what am going to do, said jack. Are you worried about me, because that's what you are being paid for, and you don't want your employees to scold you, asked Stacey.

Jack moved close to her, and cupped her face in his hand, no Stacey, he began, am worried about your safety because am in love with you, and i don't want anything to happen to you, he said.

Stacey was very happy by this revelation that she had a big smile plastered on her face.

Do you know how long i have been waiting for you to say these words, for you to actually tell me u feel same towards me?, she said.

I was waiting for the right time and place to tell you, said jack.

And i believe this is the right place, said Stacey rolling her eyes round the room, and they both chuckled.

I promise i will get us out of here, said jack as he pulled her close, till there was no place between them, and they kissed passionately, until they hear the door open, and they disengaged from each other's arms.

Here is your food, said one of the kidnappers, Jack stood up as if he wanted to get the food from the man, but he ended up knocking him down silently.

Stacey stood up immediately, while Jack checked outside to see if any of the kidnappers was in sight.

Seeing there was non, he urged on Stacey to come out, as they started walking as fast as their legs could carry them, soon, they were out of the deserted place.

One of the kidnappers decided to check on the guy that went to give them food, since it's been long he went, and there is no sign of him returning.

When he got to the room, he was surprised because the door was opened, he brought out his gun, in case of anything.

He was surprised to meet him unconscious, as Jack and Stacey were no longer in the room.

He ran as fast as his legs could carry him, as he went to inform the others.

The leader of the gang decided to call chief to inform him of what is happening.

Chief Daniel was so angry, he told them to go in search of them.

Stacey and John got to a point, and decided they couldn't continue, they were tired.

Stacey, please we will rest here tonight and continue tomorrow said jack.

Stacey moved to where Jack stood and took his hands.

Thank you so much Jack for everything, she said.

You don't need to thank me, it's part of my job, they both smiled.

They lay on the floor, while Jack pulled his shirt and gave to Stacey to protect her from cold.

They cuddled till they slept off.
