KALIM'S POV

I went right to his father, my hands clenched in a fit of rage. "Why are these pages torn out Dad?" I queried. My father was on a sofa reading the newspaper. He slowly raised his eyes to meet mine. "What are you doing with the chronicle?" Damn! He was evasive. "Whatever you're hiding Dad, I'm going to find it." I revealed. "We'll see about that." Gid! He didn't even deny it or give me a terrible lie . I was expecting that... Definately not this. This was mockery. I had no idea or was there a way? I opened the chronicle and my attention went at My father's Dad. He lived at the woodlands for as long as I could remember and I had only visited him or twice. Staring at the old man giving a beautiful smile in tge picture, I knew he was my answer. He would have to know something. "I'm going out." I informed my father, still enraged at his antics to keep a part of me away from me. "Where to?" I ignored his question and walked out on him. Packing up a raincoat that lay on the rack, i disappeared to the darkness. There was a thunderstorm and I thanked thebheavens i had carried a raincoat. It was soon going to rain cat and dogs. The air got chilly when I reached the woods relying on my acake memory of the route to my grandfather's house

. It wasn't long before I found it. Pa was sitting on a rocking chair and mumbling a random song from the eighties. "Who am I to disagree..." He paused when he heard footsteps. "Who's there?" He asked, looking at me with squinted eyes. "Kalim. Your grandson." I stated. His worried look lightened immediately and he boomed, "Kalim my boy! Come over and greet papa. " The rain had started earlier than I anticipated and Pa led me to his cottage. The decor was perfect although the air was a bit choking. He had bear skin that adorned his cream painted walls and added an ancient look to it. The chairs were wooden and one already had a mushroom sprouting out. The cottage only had a window which was opened wide time let in some light. The fireplace glowed orange and a warmtg filled the room. Pa offered me a seat and some coffee which i rejected. "So why are you here m' boy?" He inquired while sipping the dark liquid. "I was just wondering if you know anything about my mother's line. Her family perhaps?" The old man finished his drink in one swing before speaking, "So your father has finally told you what happened to her?" My dad had not told me anything but of he believed it then Hell yeah. I couldn't believe the answer was about to pour into my ears and from the most unlikely source. "Your mother's family were known as the 'Ravaii'." I got it. I finally got my answer.

AVERY'S POV

"Oh please, call me Legolas." The faeblood king insisted. "Okay." I answered sheepishly. I wondered why he had told me to come alone. Not that I cared much. I was too desperate to sign the treaty. The king tugged on his Royal regalia while eating. I was given a glass of O+ blood. It was my favourite but I knew better than to show my animal instincts to the king. Legolas' removed a button or two while my eyes followed dutifully admiringvis well toned body and perfectly sculpted abs then I saw something else. It brought dread upon me. A bat tattoo. I subconsciously reached out for the glass of blood in front of me with trembling hands. Haunting memories kept coming back. Flashes of my mother screaming when the tattooed man slayed her. The same tattoo and that the same spot. It could not be a coincidence. Dread and paranoia engulfed me as Henry's words came deeply embedded in my train of thought. I took the whole content of the glass like it would intoxicate me. It could even be drugged for all I knew. "I'll be coming back." My mind reeled on all the evil thing he would have planned for me. Every part of me wanted to immediately flee but I kept my cool reminding myself I was a Shepherd and I had a flock to my call. "Ok." I faked the calmness and let out a wide toothed grin. The man immediately disappeared and I used the opportunity to converse with Damian. "I think Legolas' might be my mum's murderer." I could feel his surprise. "Don't do anything rash." Damian begged but I had other plans. I was going to spy on Legolas. He might be a trained assassin but I was also a trained predator. I crept quietly to where he just passed through. I was swift but silent. Very soon I could make out his voice coming out from a room. I leaned on the door to eavesdrop on the conversation. "Victor, I have her here and have slipped the pill into her drink..." Victor was alive! I had to know more. "How long do you think it will take before it works?" Oh my... As I heard more I got to know what was planned. Whatever was slipped into my drink was to send my urge to feed haywire. The rage in me was building. How could this monster be king? The anger felt intensified and I felt my eyes burn, my fangs extended. The door opened and I met King Legolas shocked look. "What are you doing here?" He asked trying to act cool and hoping I didn't know whatever he had just done. I didn't give him a reply. I gave him a brute kick with every muscle inside me. He want flying and hit a glass door. He was immediately covered in blood and something in me clicked, The urge to feed. I lunged for him with an inhuman speed. He tried to scramble up but that was fruitless. Without his weapon, they were nothing or so I thought. A hot ball of light hit me right in the abdomen burning me up. I let out a screech and took steps back from him. The wound refused to heal. I needed help. It was a good thing that some vampires accompanied me. I called them with my sheepherding powers. Three vampires immediately appeared and formed a semicircle before me. Legolas reached out for a weapon. The yellow jewel on the hilt brought more painful memories or maybe it was the drugs they laced in my drink. I sent the vampires after him but I was not stupid, I sent one at a time. Legolas' plan was to put an end to me. The first vampire lunged at the faeblood who expertly dodged , moving out of the way in time. Before the vampire could turn and give another attack. The sword sliced deep inside him. He started to burn until he was nothing but ashes. This immediately got me worried. He was the faeblood king and probably one of the best fighters. Could I be doomed? "Help me." I sent to both Damian and Henry before sending the remaining two vampires to battle. Their groans of pain and failure followed almost immediately. I watched them fall, nothing but smock and Ash. "I'll be doing you a favour anyway." Leggolas said as he walked towards me, his swords dripping with a cherry like liquid. "You'll meet your parents." The wound I had sustained trobbed more as Legolas raised his sword high, striking for my heart. A force pushed him off me. Something I could only see in a blur. The sword went clang across the room along with Legolas. He sustained a bruised face and a deep gash close to his left eye complemetung tge other scar on his right eye. The king roared and stared at what caused him such a plight. It was a wolf like hybrid. Henry? His fur was thick and melanin black. His irises had a bright yellowish gold pigmentation. He was a little huge compared to a wolf. He almost has the weight and size of a grizzly bear. Thank God! I exclaimed as the two battled. Without his sword and minimal size, Legolas was still a force to reckon with. He battled Henry in his wolf form just as effortlessly only sustaining a few scratchs from Henry's claws. I heard footsteps and I knew more faebloods were coming. God! What have I done? If they had us at their mercy, we were doomed. I begged my totally unreliable powers to at least work but I could hardly concentrate due to the wound I had sustained. It was still not healing and I suspected it was the drug. The doors swung open and we were met by several glowing swords. The faebloods immediately charged for the beast that wanted Legolas dead. "Henry, let's get out of here." I sent. All I could sense was rage, an animalistic one. He was not going to listen. A tranquilizer darted right at me and I screamed. With my weary eyes, I saw another dart for Henry. He caught it midair and disposed it like they were toothpicks. Darkness slowly took hold of me and all I could picture was Henry and I, our destruction. My eyes flustered open. I was being jolted. I could see the dark orange sky. The sun was setting but it was moving or rather I was moving. I tilted my neck to see myself in Henry's arms. Somehow we had escaped but from the look of things, we weren't safe.

LEGOLAS' POV

I was doomed. The werewolf had escaped along with the pureblood. The words of the seer hit my head on replay and I began to fear for myself. Surrounding myself with those who knew my conspiracy. We talked on how we could stop the revolution before it could be born. Deep inside, I knew it was me who even paved way for the revolt. The saying one often meets destiny on the road to avoid it was damn true. I was not one to admit the cruel truth but this was plain clear.

. The werewolf whose kind i almost made extinct. The faeblood whose mother i killed before she could birth him and Avery whom I have tormented for centuries. This was reckoning. Diana, my bride put an arm of my shoulder to relax me. "We've done it before. We can do it again." She said, relaxing me. I turned to meet Victor who sat at the corner quite jealous of Diana's touching me. She was right though. I had done it before and nothing was stopping me now. ( I did not plan to make Victor give homo vibes. sorry)
