Esse - Episode 9

 

EXPOSED DUO.
I'm still in shock. Who would have believed Esse would let her guard down? She seemed so strong about her hate towards Ebun, but this duo were caught chatting animatedly yesterday. At first I was confused to why Esse would hate the ever loveable Ebun, but her reason is best known to her. All I know is, why are these two keeping their friendship a secret? Who's ashamed of who? I'm a little confused .
Oh! You're doubting, we have proof! The video of them laugh, and talking animatedly would be uploaded in few secs.
I don't have much to say on this matter, except for the fact that, both of them are dumbarse. If they wanna be friends or enemies, they should be I don't care. I'm sure we all don't care. But still, I want to know why Esse hated Ebun in the first place.

Have you heard of the diss between Godswill and Femi? Hahaha. For those of you that haven't heard, they're arguing about whose better between Phyno and Olamide.
All I have to say to about this, is that they're wasting their life and time arguing about people who don't even know about their existence. They should better rap up their life and face their book

I groaned out, as I put my head on my forearm. Nothing I do in this school is private anymore. What is the use of begging Dammy yesterday, not to tell Amarachi? Why me! Why did I fall victim into this girl hands? Wait! Chill, it's just two times, maybe she won't next time. I should have faith, maybe she's not targeting me. Maybe it's all coincidental.

"Mr. Jonathan is coming oh!" Johnson alerted everyone as he made his way to his seat. All the people who weren't at their seat ran to it, I chuckled to myself. Mr. Jonathan was my favourite teacher and friend, but to other students he was a 'short devil', like they called him.

Mr. Jonathan walked in, in his usual fast steps. "Esse and Joseph are the ones representing your class for the seminar tomorrow." I had forgotten about the seminar. And why Joseph? Why? Argh! Not him. "Esse see me." With that he walked out.

As I was about to close my computer, the video of Ebun and me popped up. I sighed and closed my computer, before walking fast to catch up with Mr. Jonathan. "Mr. Simon told me you haven't being doing well in classes nowadays." I didn't respond, I looked down instead. "I've spoken to mummy, and she said you can do music. She promised not to tell your father. So calm down, and do your music happily. I don't want to receive any bad news from Mr. Simon again. Do you understand?" I nodded with a wide smile. He smiled at me, before walking away. I walked into the class, happily.

Grrh!

The bell went off before I could take my seat. I didn't bother seating down, I grabbed my computer bag, put my computer in it and zipped it. I quickly grabbed my purse from my desk, and walked to Dammy's table, I was ecstatic. Amarachi joined us, and we both set for the door. As we were about to step out, we were met with Ebun.

She smiled warmly at us, I wanted to be mad at her, but I was in a good mood. "Hey, since it's out already, can I walk with you guys?"

"Yes duh!" Dammy shouted before I could process her question.

I ignored Dammy and smiled. It's best I keep it cool, getting mad or angry won't change the fact that the news is out. I don't care about whatever that Miss KnowAll says, she's simply being the bish that she is.

We walked to the dinning as we chatted animatedly. As we were about to turn to enter the dining hall, we all caught of glimpse of Ngozi locking lips with someone who looked like a junior. "Ah! I trust that girl, she has never disappointed me," Ebun said in laughter, making all of us laugh.

"I'm coming, I need to use the toilet," Dammy excused herself. We continued our journey without her, and went to our table.

We ate eba and okra soup, with stew. It was my favourite lunch. We laughed heartily as Ebun mocked Nimi, and Nimi's response could kill someone. I'm glad we got rearranged. My old table mates were boring and too serious, and Ebun was an excellent table leader. The foods are always equal, no matter what. I'm staring to like these commercial girls oh, prejudice is not good at all.

After lunch, Ebun and I walked to the hostel together. Dammy and Amarachi had to stay behind, because they were the ones washing plate and cleaning table.  We talked about our likes and dislike, basically getting to know eachother more. She's a fun person, I like her.

Ebun didn't go to her corner as usual, when we got to the hostel, she stayed at my bed corner so we could continue our talk. I dropped my computer bag on my bed and sat on Dammy's bed, so we could continue. A lot of people passed us, and murmured some stuff to themselves. Some sat in groups looking at us and talking, some even had the effrontery to point. Mtchew, jobless people.

That was when Joseph came into my mind again. I can use the TalkFree app to apologise to him, my ego won't let me to do it face to face. Maybe I should ask Ebun, she should know. "Ebun?" Her look changed from playful, to concerned. I smiled. "It's nothing serious, but can I get Joseph handle for the TalkFree app?"

She frowned at me. "You like him?" she asked a question, instead of giving an answer.

I didn't want to tell anyone, but I didn't know what happen. My head started nodding. Her mood changed from unsure, to that of fear. She shook her head, and said in a clam voice. "If I'm to advice you, I'd say you be careful and stay as far as you can from him." With that she stood up and left.

Wow! I've never seen her this moody or scared before. That was when it hit me. She's his ex. She's prolly jealous! Mtchew!
