“So, what do you think we should tell the folks at work?” She asked as he was driving.
“Actually, I have been thinking about it as well.”
“Marcy would hate me so much if she knows.”
He chuckled, “no, she wouldn’t.”
“Yes she will, you don’t know her.” She replied and he laughed loudly.
“You are saying I don’t know the lady that has been my closest friend at the club.”
She shrugged, “Well, I don’t know but believe me, there is a side of her you don’t know or probably never thought about it. She has had it for me right from day one.”
He smiled, “Marcy can be a difficult person sometimes but she is the only person I trust in that place . She has had my back for quite a while. There were so many times when I would pay others and delay her payment just because we are trying to save for the return.”
“Yea, Betty and Candy told me how much you guys have been working so hard to return the money.”
“Yea, it’s been really serious, it wouldn’t be fair if I get a loan to set up a club and then I later lose the club just because I can’t pay back on time.”
“I understand. So what are you saying? Should we tell them or not?”
“Well, I will tell those that matter to me, you can tell who you think matters.”
Adams gave no reply but laughed instead.

“I know and I am sorry as well. You are the boss and your decision, opinion and your verdict matter most. I should have considered that and I am sorry.”
He smiled, “I guess that is it, it would really make me happy if things can go back the way they were, the lady means well, believe me.”
Marcy smiled, “I’m sorry, I will work on that as well, I have no idea why the lady gives me the bumps but I promise that I will work on it and we can all be one happy family.” She brought something from her bag, like the food pack she brought him yesterday.
“Oh, I have eaten, think I actually ate too much.” He replied, rubbing his stomach.
“How? Did you buy food again? Adams you should be saving and not waste money buying food!”
“No, no. Angy prepared it for me this morning.” He said before he could stop himself.
“Angy?” She asked, confused.
Ugh-oh!
Adams knew he had just worsened things but there was no going back now.
“Urm, well, something happened last night, she got kicked out of her house and she has no place to stay currently, so I asked her to come over.”
Marcy was quiet and clearly disturbed but she said nothing. “Alright.” Then she was about to pack the food back into her bag....
“No, you can leave that, I will eat it later...”
“No, I think I will give it to someone who is actually hungry.” She replied and packed it into her bag before leaving.
Adams was confused, what the hell was that and why was she always behaving crazily sometimes? He sighed.
