Crime To Love - Episode 2
It was revealed to Cyril that the death of his family was not ordinary because the story had always not been the same. He prayed to God to punish severely any human whose hands may have been in the death of his family members. Cyril didn’t see the corpse of his parents till after his final examination.
When Cyril arrived at his hometown he asked a lot of questions to know what really killed his parents and his sister because people said different things to him as the cause of their death. He was then satisfied by his father’s younger brother who told him that it was the night they all ate the pounded yam prepared by his younger sister after which, they went to sleep and never woke up again . His uncle told him that it was their neighbors that brought down the information to them in the village. Cyril cried bitterly and swore to dig to the root of their death.
After the burial, Cyril’s uncle squandered all Cyril father’s property and left him, only the apartment in the city, where he is presently living with some tenants. Life became very challenging for Cyril after the burial ceremony. Because he began to realize that all his relatives were never in good terms with his father’s admirable success in life, Cyril ceased coming to their village and decided to face the other part of life which is hardship, surviving only by the yearly payment of the rent. Life became challenging not until he was called to bar.

. Not minding that his car was very dirty he entered it and called on the gatekeeper to open the gate. After some seconds he putted the engine of the car alive and drove at the speed of 120km/hr in order to catch up with the client whom he was sure must have been waiting impatiently for long.

As she was putting the ignition of her car on, Cyril drove in and alighted from the car and apologized to the woman for his lateness to the office. She made no statement and came down from her car and went back to the office.
Cyril called his secretary to come and pick his files from the car as he followed the woman up to the office. In the office Cyril sat down and started again to apologize to the woman for his ineptitude because he has seen anger written all over her face. After some pleadings the woman put up a smile that was when he teased her, her smiles convinced Cyril of his lateness forgiven and forgotten.
She deeped her hands inside her hand bag and brought out a file, handed it over to Cyril. He opened it and perused through the write-ups in the file and then saw that it was a will which the woman wrote sending the message across of death smelling around the woman. She went further telling Cyril that she had only few weeks to live on earth. Cyril wanted to sermonize by telling her that nobody was God and it was only God who brings and who would still take, therefore she should not say a thing like that. The woman smiled tears dropping from her eyes as she whispered to Cyril “IT IS TOO LATE”
