The greatest illusion

I'm living in a world where nothing matters, boys don't mean sh-t. Well not just everything except my precious desire, it's very much fun seeing guys being fooled not like they've not being doing it to me my whole life. Thanks to my lovely new roomie, well we no longer new.
(Ouch.. . Both shouted)
CLAIRE:
Oh my God. I'm really sorry... I'm really really sorry..
Stranger:
(Smiling)
Apology not accepted..
CLAIRE: 
(Blushes)
So what should I do for him to accept an apology?
Stranger:
Well, if you let me buy you a drink, maybe, I will consider it.
CLAIRE:
(Rudely)
Where is your car? (Pause) Oh sorry my bad if you did have a car you wouldn't have bumped into me
Stranger: 
Hey!!
CLAIRE:
I don't date guys without cars.

Claire walked away leaving the guy standing in what could be described as shock? Surprise probably mixed emotions. Did she just say that to me or am I hallucinating?? This can't be possible. He walked away thinking about her. 

Sonia had searched everywhere since the day her sister walked out of that bar she read every single article she came across hoping her sister started writing again but she just couldn't get any tip. 

I got home that night seeing Sandra drunk although she drinks alot, never like this, it was way beyond her she was troubled I could tell but I never knew how and the thing I have learnt from her is "you dare not try to know what's up with her when she is not willing". Well she've never been drunk before until this week so I guess I'm going to push it today and see how it goes. 
CLAIRE:
Sandra seriously?? You drunk

. This is like the third time this week what's up? 

There was the reply I never expected. It was literally the craziest thing that had happened to me, no this is still happening to me did she just do that? She thinks I'm? No way this is not happening..
CLAIRE:
Sandra stop (pushing her away) What is wrong with you?

Sandra: I'm so sorry I ..
CLAIRE:
Never mind I'm going to bed now when you are sober we talk.

I wonder what was going through Sandra's mind when she tried to kiss me, I'm not a lesbian and for sure I haven't even thought of it. 
Next morning when I woke up it was as if Sandra waited all night just to apologise for her actions which is also unlike her, she never apologizes no matter what. I hurriedly hugged her as I was already late for work that day. It was suppose to be a big day at work as we were having a meeting with the board for promotion and salary raise. I was more than prepared for this meeting or rather presentation, I have worked harder than I have ever worked for anything else. Is not like I needed the money then, of course there are a thousand and one guys willing to supply my needs but I guess the talk of being an independent woman had really gotten to me, I didn't want to be that kind of girl I see in the mirror everyday I wanted something better I needed to be able to do without a man afterall men are just added bonus, I tell myself this every morning and even before my presentation. I walked into the room sure of myself I had confidence I was going to get the heart of my superiors of course the promotion too. I was dressed in the most professional but enticing way possible, looked each one of them in the eye and then my presentation kicked of. I just introduced myself and my purpose of standing there as if they didn't already know then he walked in.... It can't be ! Of all people in the world how could he be standing here who is he? I guess all my questions were answered when everybody I so want to impress stood up to shake him. Good day sir the presentation is just about to start please have a seat.

I'm quite sure he is not the boss because our boss is really old and he is second by Mr Blake and Mr Blake just greeted this young man. Tension increased immediately he saw me I could tell he recognized me. It gave me more confidence since I had an additional advantage. After my presentation I decided I was going to try ask where we met. I over heard Mr Blake saying "your dad didn't have to send you we have everything under control" .Mr Blake left immediately I walked in.

CLAIRE:
Good day sir I know this might sound inappropriate but I think I recognize you from somewhere but I just can't get a hold of where or how we met. I was hoping...

Before I could finish he cuts me of with
"I'm sorry I don't date guys without cars".   Then walks out
I went home thinking to myself what did he mean? First I'm a girl not a guy secondly I was asking where we met not for dinner or something..
Then it hits me oh my God it can't be.
