The next few days was probably the best days for Paris. Her grand father's health seemed to get better by the day, he tried as much as he could to interact and relate with Paris as he and his wives made sure she and her mother felt at home. It was quite unfortunate that Mrs Adebayos mother was not alive to see this day she cried and begged for.

The news came as a shock, a great man had gone to rest. Paris felt cheated, she was just about to enjoy the sweetness of having a grand father around and he was no more but he seemed fine just the night before . The news spread round the Egyptian media house, his death rocked the nation. Within the next day he was laid to rest, his will was shared as mandated by the holy Quran of his wealth given to his daughter been the only child, an inheritance she at the spot handed over to her daughter. Everything seemed to happen too fast for Paris, one minute her grand father was dead, the next minute he was buried and then the next, she was worth 9million US dollars,even while aboard the plane back home it still seemed like some vague dream. Paris walked slowly with her hands wrapped around her mum that looked pale and sickly, the death of her father was paining even to her very bones. He stood for a while, then walked towards them with pity and affection in his eyes, he gave Mrs Adebayo a long warm hug on reaching them, she only looked at him and smiled as he whispered into her ears his condolences, she said nothing, she has not said a word ever since the will of her late father was read out.

"What are you doing here? How do you know we would be here?" Paris asked surprised to see Kunle at the airport

. "I heard the news,am truly sorry for your loss, it always hurts to loose family" Kunle responded "Yeah its hard, where is Fred, he is here right?" "Well um his fine, his fine, he, he is um unavoidably not here" Tunde answered scratching his head with his car keys.

"Is he okay, tell me nothing happened to him" Paris said getting anxious "No no nothing of such nature, well let's not worry of Fred,right now what you both need is rest, please let me drive you home" "Thanks but we called the driver already he should be here any minute" Paris replied "Please I insist, am here he is not besides you have had a long, long week, your mum really needs the rest" Kunle said as they both turned to see Mrs Adebayo that seemed to be lost in space "Fine let's go" Paris bulged not having enough strength or will powee to argue with Kunle and considering her mum.

"Thanks a lot, for once you have acted like an unselfish person" Paris said as he dropped them home and helped take their luggage in. "You just haven't given me any chance to show am a nice person" He replied with a smile "I guess. What about Fred, I so miss him, are you sure he is fine, I have tried his number a zillion times and its never available" "Really? maybe its the network, why don't you try it again" Kunle said "Its the same story" she replied frustrated after trying two more times. "OK not to worry Fred is more than fine trust me" "I really need to see him, he was so angry the last time, I wish he would let us talk this out, I miss him." Paris said sad faced "Honestly right now you need to talk with him, so you guys figure things out, it would be easier to deal with the pain with A MAN THAT REALLY LOVES YOU BY YOUR SIDE " Kunle responded, making sure to stress the last words as he looked deep in her blue eyes. She was so beautiful he thought. Catching himself before he got lost in the beauty of her eyes he continued "So how about you come over to his place tomorrow evening let's say by 7pm" "I can't with that long I will go see him later today" "I don't think its a good idea, you need the rest, besides its not best leaving your mum all by herself" Kunle said convincingly "so I will let him know you are coming so he can clean up himself" "Yeah you do have a point, thanks Kunle you have truly been good today" "Am just doing what I know how to do best -care for people. So I better go now and leave you to yourself, do have a nice day". He drove off with a wide smile, he was glad he did put Paris number on reject list in Fred's phone, who would have thought that would be such a brilliant idea. With everything going just right Fred would not even know what would hit him next. "I deserve her not him, its survival of the fittest and only the strong gets the pretty lady" he said out to himself. Increasing the volume of the car stereo, he sang at loud and stepped on the gear happy with the plan his scheming mind just cooked and was about to serve hot, very hot.
