Best Friend - Episode 27
Paris gasped as she walked past a lifeless body of one of the guards that had been killed in the raid. She walked into the room where Fred was, already there was Dustan and Tunde each holding Fred by the hand as they lifted him up.

. As soon as Paris walked into the room both her and Fred's eyes got locked in a gaze
. Fred obviously confused and scared could not take it any more as he fainted pulling Dustan with him to the ground, Paris rushed to his side already crying.
I slowly opened my eyes, the image was blurry at first but got clearer, I could feel the drip in my hand as I looked straight at the roof trying to understand where I was or what was happening.
"Hey babe" came a sweet clear voice I quickly recognized was Paris.
Startled I quickly tried to shift from her as she reached for my hands. I felt another hand rest on my shoulders in a bid to calm me down. I looked up and saw it was Dustan.
"You are dead" I said to Paris
"Relax man, just calm down she is not dead" Dustan said
"Am I dead?" I asked
"No one is dead just calm down".
I tried to calm myself and understand what was really happening, thanks to Dustan it was easier and then Tunde walked in with an unknown man. Following closely behind them was a smiling Doctor Chima.
"What really is going on here" I demanded

. I noticed everyone in the room turning to look at each other in an awkward way with nobody saying nothing.
The silence was becoming unbearable when Chima cleared his throat turning everyones attention to him
"Hey Fred, um good day, um I..I..I.. Well you should take a look at this" he said handing me a mirror.
I looked in the mirror and almost dropped it immediately, I was looking much older than I remember, more matured with beards on my face.
"I don't understand am I going mad? No am going crazy" I said confused, scared and worried all at once
"Calm down Fred you are not mad, your memory was tampered with and that's why you think you should be younger I suppose"
I looked at him still confused
"Do you know who I am?" Dustan asked
"Of course I do you are Dustan and you are Timi and you are Chelsea and you yes you are Chima and I remember you from my dream how come you are real and why is everyone looking older" I said turning to look at them individually
"Wow this is going to be harder than we imagined" said the guy I addressed as Timi
"That's the story the phsyco doctor put in his brain according to their confession" said the unknown guy
Doctor Chima exhaled "okay Alfred all that dream you thought you had was not a dream that actually is real life"
"I still don't understand" I said
"Baby its me Paris, your fiancée look at me look into my eyes, its me yes its me" Paris said holding my face in both her hands and staring deep into my eyes, I stared back into her tear filled eyes, they were beautiful, so calm and warm, looking at them made me feel like I was home where I should be
"Paris? Paris its you, you are alive,you are not a dream" I said tears now forming in my eyes
"Yes its me" she said shaking her head excitedly as the tears now dropped from her eyes rolled on her cheeks and landed on my face. I suddenly felt like if I didn't kiss her this minute my life would end, I rushed at her lips, her lips reminded me of strawberry, sweet red and juicy. I kissed sulking and nibbling at her lips till we both ran out of breath and broke the kiss panting. She hugged me as she was sited on the bed beside an already sited me.
I still did not remember a lot or really understand what was going on but something from deep within me made me feel that my life was with Paris and that kiss proved it, there was something familiar in her eyes and her lips tasted way to familiar to be that of a stranger or a dead person. Now I was in a better mode to understand what it is they had to tell me.
