. KUNLE KIDNAPPED HIM TO THIS FACILITY WHERE DOCTOR WALE IS TRYING TO CHANGE HIS MEMORY INTO BELIEVING HE(ALFRED) KILLED BOTH KUNLE AND PARIS.

Kunle drove into the compound that housed the facility where Fred was been held. As he drove in, he did notice the Fulani herds man from the other day, this time he was with another herdsman and three cows. That did seem odd to him but he didn't think much about it.
He walked straight to the underground basement where things were already set. Doctor Wale spoke to some people through a live feed on his computer, they had their faces covered and voice distorted. Kunle sat quietly at a corner.

 "Doctor we all set" came the voice of one of his assistant.

Speaking to the hearing of Kunle and the faceless men on his computers he said

"Patient 1399, Alfred popularly referred to as Fred is a 31 year old medical doctor engaged to be married but as of this point due to to great success in our experiments we have changed all of his memories. He now believes his a 21 year old 300level medical student who killed his best friend and his own girlfriend."

"How do we confirm what you say?" Came one of the distorted voices on the screen.

"That's what you here to witness please watch"

. Dr Wale said as he left and went into the white room where Alfred was kept.

" hello Fred" he said smiling

"Hey doctor good day"

"So how are you today?"

"Am fine doing great, I mean its much better now my hands are free and I can walk about." Replied Fred timidly

"OK that's great so Fred we are going to proceed with your final check up today and then you can go home"

"Oh wow really? That's great I can't wait to leave this place?"

"Great so I will ask you some questions and we are done".

Fred nodded his head positively and sat by the edge of the bed close to doctor Wale

" so what's your name your full name?"

"Pantong Dakop Alfred"

"How old are you?"

"21"
"Where do you work?'

"I thought you asked me all this before?" Alfred asked

"Yes but we have to be sure just answer the questions".

"Fine I don't work, am a 300 level medical student"

"Good, do you know why you are here?"

Alfred kept quiet for a while with a sad look now drenching his face, he closed his eyes and covered his face with both his hands. The light of the room went off and by the time it came back on, he saw Kunle standing by the door, he screamed, pointing to that direction, crying and shouting

"Am sorry man Kunle am sorry"

The lights went back off and came back on with Kunle no where to be found.

"Hey Alfred listen to me, its just here there is no else, please calm down son." Dr Wale said now sitting beside him and gently pat his back.

"I killed him, I killed him, and Chelsea too I killed both of them, but it was a mistake I swear" Alfred said crying bitterly as the memories flashed in his brain

"Is that why you are here?" Dr Wale asked calmly

"Yes my lawyer said I was mentally derailed and I was here instead of prison for life" he said still sobbing

"That's good son,that's great you have done fine, don't worry you are safe now and you will be home soon" Dr Wale said to him reassuringly and left the room.

If only Fred knew all this was not real but a false memory implanted into his brain.

Dr Wale walked back to the other room where the faceless men in his computer watched everything that happened.

"So you mean to tell me that the young man did not actually kill anybody?" Said one if the distorted, faceless voice on the screen

"No not at all, Alfred did not kill anybody, all of that is a memory we forcefully implanted into his brain making him believe he actually killed them."

Pointing at Kunle he said "that's the Kunle he is referring too as you can see he is very much alive"

The faceless men on the screen that were his sponsors were impressed as shown by their clapping and laughing.

Then all of a sudden they heard gun shots outside the building. Dr Wale immediately pulled the plugs to the computers, disconnecting the live feed that enabled the faceless men on screen to video call with him, he in a rush destroyed any evidence that could point to those men, he loaded papers of the experiment on a paper shredder that cut them in pieces.

With a huge bang came flying the door of the room he and Kunle were in and uniformed police men rushed in with guns shouting
"Freeze, this is the Nigerian police force"
Dr Wale and Kunle were both handcuffed and dragged outside the building, Kunle then recognized the so called Fulani herds men he noticed outside the building, it turned out they were part of the police team that raided the facility. To his greatest shock, as Kunle was been dragged out he saw Paris stepping out of a tinted black ford jeep, she walked to him with disgust in her eyes, spat on him and with all her strength gave him a hard slap across his face.
