Best Friend - Episode 19

I don't believe in dreams, I was too much of a science student to believe dreams were anything more than the ordinary. Its been two days now still my mind could not rest ever since I met Paris or rather Chelsea, the resemblance was too much to be a coincidence maybe I was actually going mad. 

"My guy, how far?" Kunle said behind me as he came into the empty class where I hid to at least read for an hour, he tapped my back as he sat not minding I did not even reply him

"Guy if you see this pink eagle I just saw strolling majestically out of her natural domain" he said excitedly

"Beautiful half cast with deep blue eyes and sparkling white teeth" I said absent mindedly not realizing why I let that out of my mouth

"Fredo Fredo you are a bad guy, so you go de see like say you no de see abi? How you take know say na her I de talk about?" He shouted excitedly

My mouth tried to speak but no words came out I just sat still with a puzzled look

"Guy me I no dull o I track her immediately, see if I no chop that bird for this school I no go graduate well, infact me I don see my wife, cus am in love guy" he said laughing happily as always when he talked about a new girl.

He must have been taken aback by my next action as i said nothing, quietly packed my books and left leaving him stunned and complaining 

"Guy what is wrong with you sef"

I hurried towards the point of registration for new students, I just felt I would see her there and of course I did. She sparkled as she talked and laughed, the breeze made her dance in ways that melted my heart.

. I approached her gathering my thoughts as I came closer. I walked past her and the guy she was talking to and stopping as if I just saw her when she called my name
"Oh hey my friend from the other day um what's the name again Chelsea right?" I said smiling as I stopped
My heart skipped a beat when I noticed she had her hands wrapped to the guy she had been talking with.
"Oh Timi this was the kind sir I told you directed me here the other day. Timi meet Fred, Fred meet Timi."
"Good afternoon sir" he greeted as he unwrapped his hand to shake me
"How is your registration going? You both are medical students right?"
"Number 87" we heard the official shout, he immediately ran there since  it was his turn
"Okay I better run along I have lots of pages to cover" I said
"Sorry sir please do you know where I can get a cold drink, these ones here are not a bit cold" she said
"By the gate,why don't you come with me am actually headed towards that direction" I lied
We walked in awkward silence, I thought of what to say then asked
"So are you done with yours, I mean your registration"
"Not yet we were asked to come back tomorrow" she said with her heads looking down as we walked
"But I just saw your brother registering, you should be after him I guess"
"Oh you mean Timi, well am actually in business administration I only come around to check on him and he is not exactly my brother" she added
"Okay that's nice, I actually would have asked how you managed to look so different from your brother, no offense but he is so black" I whispered. She laughed. 
"You look very beautiful when you laugh". Oh my God I didn't know when that came out,stupid stupid I better dont blow this I thought to myself.
She looked down smiling shyly as she fiddled with her nails. She was blushing I could see, she timidly said "Thank you sir"
We reached the spot by the gate and bought drinks for us and Timi, which I paid for by the way. Then my dream suddenly came back fresh in my mind, goodness Timi is actually Tunde 
"Um so you and Tunde have known each other a long time I guess". We stood obviously both not wanting to leave yet. She nodded positively, it took a miracle for me not to ask if he was gay.
We talked for thirty more minutes or there about laughing and bonding super fast. That was the best day of my life I felt alive. But that left me with another problem, maybe my dream was not just a dream, why did everything have to match? Could be I had dreamt of the future? If that is even possible what then do I do to change things?
