James was shocked,Sarah had suddenly changed. She even slapped him,she should have just said no. He saw anger and pain in her eyes. All the time they were together, he thought she had grown to love him back but it wasn't as he thought. He never expected things to turn out this way,all he wanted was to make his feelings known to her. Now even their friendship is at stake.
He took her to her hostel and told her to think about what he told her earlier.
“Sarah,I just wanted you to know how I feel about you,am very sorry if I hurt you in anyway
. I want you to know I will never give up on you no matter what happens between us. I will leave you to rest now." James said and left.
Sarah couldn't control herself,she ran into the room and fell on her bed weeping. Bola was so shocked seeing the way she rushed in. Titi walked to Sarah,wanting to know what had happened to her.
“Abeg,who die again?" Titi asked.
“What sort of stupid question is that? Are you praying for someone's death?" Bola answered angrily.
“I just dey ask o." Titi said. She hissed and left the room.
Bola sat close to Sarah on her bed.
“Sarah,please stop crying. What's wrong? Please tell me." Bola said calmly, patting Sarah on the back.
Sarah wiped the tears off her face and sat close to Bola.
“Bola,it's James." Sarah said.
“James?,what happened to him? Bola asked shouting.

. I thought we were friends,I can't believe James would want to hurt me. How can he love me? Sarah asked confusedly.
“You mean James said that to you? Well,what was your response? Bola asked.
“James is my friend and that's all. I want nothing more." Sarah replied.
“That James is an animal, I use to think he was a responsible guy,I never knew he was this wicked. You have to stay away from him,I hope you can still remember what Joseph did to you,do you want it to repeat itself? Bola said.
She told Sarah she was going to warn James to stay away from Sarah. She went to the boys hostel and knocked on James's door. He opened the door and she went in. She hugged James from the back,he quickly turned and pushed her away.
“Are you high?" James asked angrily.
“I know you are so angry at Sarah. She took your love for granted. But am here for you. James,am in love with you. I want us to be together,I want to be your woman." Bola said holding tightly to James.
James forcefully removed his hands from hers and pushed her out of his room.
“What rubbish? James said angrily.
Bola returned to her room and told Sarah she insulted James and told him to never come close to them again. Deep down,she was very angry that James rejected her.
The next morning,Sarah got out of her hostel. She met James outside waiting to walk her to school as usual.
