But that was after my baby brother's naming.
Which was small but made history.
After the birth of my baby brother, my step mom lost every control she ever had on father.
This made my stepmother very angry.
She fought Dad and Mom, saying that both of them have joined hands together to kill her.
After which she packed her things and went back to her parents.
Two days later , Dad with his kinsmen went to her parents house to beg her to return.
She was happy they came for her but pretended to still be angry with dad and mom.
When the elders started begging almost going on their knees , she accepted but not without a condition.
That my mother lives her position as the first and senior wife and let her become one.
If not she won't be coming back.
Ha!!!, shouted the elders,
Where have you heard that, that is done in this our land? They asked her.
You this woman is not up to 6 months talk more of a year you got in to our family that you have turned a once happy home sour. One of the elders said.
Then she said that she should be given two more days with her parents then she would return back home.
They agreed to her request and after wards left her parents house.
Two days later, she returned from her parents home, and this time she arrived prepared from the way she attacked everyone she met a home for no reason.
She got in to another fight with mother three days after her return simply because of food.
It so happened that she was supposed to cook for the whole family that day , but she only cooked her mouth and that of her husband my father.
And when mom asked her where our own food was ( me and herself ).
Then she got angry and started shouting saying "people come and see oh ".
Woman have your giving birth affected your legs and hands too? that you can't go in to the kitchen and cook if you were hungry

Then mother replied her saying "Rose you know too well that you were the one to do the cooking today, which simply means that you are to feed the whole family or did you forget so soon that it was your wise idea that cooking should be rationed .
Meaning that each of us feeds the family turn by turn.

So what now happens if it was my idea and now I have also decided to stop it.
