I looked at the sun rising up from the horizon it was such a great day I yawned, hopped off the bed and went to take my bath. I had plans today and I was really excited to see Ricky who had promised fun. After bathing I went to inspect dad's room and lo and behold he has gone out he always does that anyway.
I sat on the Dinning anxiously waiting for Ene. 'Ene where's this food I'm starving!' I complained
. "madam the rice still dey fire"Ene explained. I was so angry I felt like slapping her what is wrong with this girl she was hired to be a maid but by ten o'clock ordinary breakfast she cannot prepare. I was still holding my temper when a car drove into the premises. My plan of eating and escaping has been spoilt. SHE was back I wondered why because her appointment was suppose to end In two days time.

. You returned earlier because it wasn't due in two days". Mom looked at me up and down and laughed 'look at this one is that how I thought you to greet your elders?' I was so embarrassed. It was not because of what mom said but she said it in front of Musa and Ene ordinary employees. Biting my lips I greeted"Migwo ma". Mom retorted"Migwo for yourself!"and entered the hose with Ene and Musa dragging whatever she brought inside. I walked up to my room and called Ricky she said I should Better get out of here because if I didn't come to the party of the century I will regret it. I know mom will never give me consent for such parties so I dressed casually holding my purse planning to change in Ricky's house. I was past the stairs and as I opened the door mom's harsh voice asked me"Where do you think you're going to?" I stood dead in my tracks. I tried to explain to mom that I was going to a church program but she told me to go upstairs. In that anger I told her"I wish you had never came back and died!!" mom dropped her purse and stared at me eyes blinking in shock.
