Robin - Episode 2
Once lived a great warrior in the land of Banjul whose feat was never matched before the colonization of our country, they say he worshiped dead men for their strength and his victory was heard in our neighboring villages, this made Banjul a dark in the light.
The air mourns while the ground trembles at the sight of bulled dogface, his biff was a torrent of darkness among the gusty trees and his lip was red, his looks were free which thicks warriors’ blood with cold.
Drums where rolled, chants became a song of titans as echoes of the bulled dogface was an anthem in Olympus, “blood, blood, blood”, chanted Persians while the wimpish would tremble at the chant of the Persians accepting defeat before the haymaker.
My son this was the tale of Agunyi the great warrior, his tale has become a relic in Banjul and his forever in the heart of our people and today his tale is still being told; it’s now a nursery rhyme in schools, he was courageous, fearful, his strength was incomparable. Agunyi was loved by everyone but is demise was a thorn in the flesh, our tears could not bring the “the bulled dogface” as his being called.
Agunyi was a son to the elders, a father to the young and a mentor to the wimp but it’s so sad the mightier bulled dogface as a wimpish heart and this something every man as to be wary about and never let the heart be the key to dark hole, even when it stop, man still feels the freshest gift of nature.
Dad what do you mean by Agunyi the great having a wimpish heart?” I asked.
Hmm my son, my people do say “when a man is blinded by eve’s apple definitely he would be thrown out of the Garden of Eden and man’s weakest bone is the heart” .
Agunyi allowed himself to be fooled by love by selling his soul to his feelings, he fell in love with a white witch blinded by her demonic beauty and made a vow he could not keep which cost his soul .
My son never make a vow you know you can’t keep and aim for the birds of the air when you know that of the land is what you can afford and be careful for love builds and also kill.
