Robin - Episode 1
Life as never been a bed of roses since dad lost his job after crisis became the lord of the company, ever then making ends meet is like searching for grain in the anthill but faith was a pride dad flaunts and each time i ask "Dad when will all this end, i wish i could work and ease the load on your shoulder but I'm just a teen who is in grade one in college", his reply would always be my son, like my people would always say "The best way to eat an elephant in your path is to cut him up into little pieces, this simply means the best approach to solving a problem is to take it bit by bit; one at a time", your worry should be how you'll wash your hand so you can eat with the kings, don't worry my son tomorrows rays from the sun will be intense to dry our clothes. Dad's response seems to be a little ash and this makes me feel left out of the family situation but my name Miry like they say means greatness as always been the force behind my attitude to doing things, my friends call me Baku because of my haircut and they say my attitude is no different and they believe everything I do makes no sense, discrimination was a worry in the land of Swahili as clans tends to take offense at every little thing . This never became an obstacle neither stops me from doing what I intend to do

After a month, Dad had finally gotten a job in Banjul which is a mile away from Swahili; Banjul is been known for its tall buildings and its said to be the heart of our country while Swahili is just a small town with very few educated people living there. Miry he called; sit, finally our faith as brought us good will and God as finally shone his mercy in our family.my son when a king has good counselors ,his reign his peaceful and do not call the forest that shelter you a jungle. Work hard to be someone of great value because life is like a shadow and a mist; it passes quickly by, and it's no more and wherever a man goes to dwell , his character goes with him. This is my piece of advice as we prepare to move to Banjul.
