I narrated what happened at home to Arike ,and as expected, she was really unhappy. She also tried to talk to her parents but all to no avail. We even called a meeting for both parents, and it was just like a show of superiority, a tribal clash I must say. We had since then continued our affair in secrecy,even after Arike finished her service year. But for how long can we continue this way??????

LOTANNA: Hello dear, how are you?
ARIKE : I'm fine my love, how has your day been?

LOTANNA: Fine. You said you want to discuss something with me.
ARIKE : Yes(sighs) ,well I've been thinking about something lately. Since our parents have decided not to allow us be together, well I suggest....... (looks at Lotanna )
LOTANNA :Tell me, what is it?
ARIKE :I suggest we elope
LOTANNA :What!!!!!!!! How can you even suggest that. No dear, I don't think that's even an option here .
ARIKE :That's the only solution. We can just go to another country and live our lives there together, where no one can find us. Please dear.
LOTANNA:(moves to sit beside her on the other sofa, and holds her hands )I understand you dear, I understand how you feel and I am not feeling any better(pause for a while, then continues ) You know what, I'll think about it , but you have to relax and believe that everything will be alright. Okay?
(Arike nods in agreement )
