My dad's call was the last I expected that morning, what could he be calling me for ? I wondered. "Hello dad", I said after picking the call. "Come home at once " he said in a low key tone that indicated seriousness. I couldn't even reply before he cut the call.

My mum and dad were in the sitting room when I arrived . "Good afternoon dad, Good afternoon mum", I greeted, but surprisingly none of them replied. "Is anything the matter ?" I inquired. "And what is good about the afternoon, tell me what exactly is good about the afternoon. What is the meaning of this nonsense and disrespect!!!!!! " my dad thundered pointing a sheet of paper at me. Still dumbfounded, I collected the paper from him, and to my greatest shock, it was a letter from Arike's father to my dad, it's content stated that my dad should keep me away from his daughter. I was so shocked and disappointed

There and then it felt like my whole world was crumbling, I didn't have any reason to stay behind, so I left the palace immediately.
