HILLARY'S POV

Lillian, came yesterday, I had invited her to come stay for two days, I have really missed her, since that wedding we have been couple on air, we haven't seen, we just call, text and sext if need be .

When Henry dropped me off at the junction, I boarded a taxi to the park instead of going home, when I got to the park, I went to the passengers relaxation hall .

"Hey you, you kept me here for hours " 

She was in a beautiful red gown and looks stressed out, she looked taller than how she was when I saw her last, buy still with the worn out look she looked more beautiful .

"I am sorry sweet pie" 

"you know am new to this town" ... She stated tiredly as she fell amidst my arms 

"I am sorry, come let me take you home" ... 

I helped her with her small bag, boarded a taxi and got us in my one room apartment .

"My little crib " 

I said as I led her by the hand to the room.

"keep your bag there" ...I pointed to the little table at the edge of the bed.

"where is the bathroom" . . She said as she dropped the bag .

I showed her the bathroom, she went to freshen up while I went to the kitchen to set dinner up.

I was about to fry the last plantain when she came into the kitchen .

"What are you doing babe" her voice came close to my neck, tickling and making my hairs to stand up.

"I am making dinner for my sweet pie ...duh" .

. I said 

"so you can cook ?, what are you setting up for us?"..  She said trying to wash the dirty dishes .

"you once told me you like fried plantains and fried eggs, so what else " .. 

"you are such a darling" .

"can you leave the dishes I will take care of them?" 

"what kind of girlfriend will I be if I do" 

"But you just came today for the first time sweet pie" 

"and that doesn't make me a visitor still darling"... She persisted and continued washing.

When she was done, I was almost done already, I served on the flat plate she brought and then we both headed to the parlour.

I switched on the television and then 

"Movies or racing".. She had told me she liked both and either of them will be good entertainer .

"movies first then after we are done eating then I race you till midnight, what about that?... She suggested .

"Sure whatever the queen wants" .... I said bowing down.

"you won't cease to make me laugh darling "...

" so which movie ,my lady " ..

" pan" .. She said .

"how do you know?, I love that movie" .. I said ,surprised at her choice. 

"you have said about it several times" ..

"ohhh, that's the bad thing with being truthfully intimate with someone, you will tell them everything about you without knowing" ....I said with a small laugh .

I stood and then went and inserted the plate in the DVD player, and got back to the couch. 

She relaxed in my arms, keeping her head on my chest .

I fed us, while we saw the movie, when our food finished, I excused my self and go got pop corn and two cocacolar bottled drinks, I had planned the day .

When we were don't with the movie, I set up the ps3, then selected the "blur" race.

She isn't that bad as she beat me in the first race, I beat her and beat her again , I was about to win the fourth race when she took my pad and hid, I watched my car stumble as she raced to glory .

" I spoke with Henry today, about you "... I said, not planning to spoil the mood but then I knew it was going to change her mood .

"my brother, what did you guys say about me" .. She said dropping her pad .

"about why you left the house and all those stuffs" .. I said as I watch her bend her head.

"I am sorry for not telling you all this" ... She said bitterly .

"don't worry sweet pie, he told his own part of the story, so when you left home where did you go to ?" ... I asked .. Adjusting myself on the couch and making her lie on me .

" okay, when my dad disowned me, I packed my luggages to Samuel's house, on reaching there I met four legs on his bed and then his sweaty face owned two legs while a girl I know nothing about owned one, I was confused, I was heart broken, I didn't know where to go, I carried my bag, I was meant to leave town, I couldn't face the disgrace, I came across a lorry packed at the roadside, the driver was carrying  woods, I had just a thousand naira with me, the driver was checking in his tires , I met him and begged him to follow him along, after explaining my conditions, he decided to carry me, when we got to where he was to off load, that was after 5 hours , I got down, and then took on a road I never knew, the area was timid, more like a village, I met a girl, joy, the friend that invited me to your aunt's birthday, God being on my side, I explained everything to her and she took me to her family, I stayed with them, she was the only friend I had, I got a job as a sales person, and I was being paid 5 thousand naira, that was how I coped till joy was chosen amongst the bridesmaids and then she invited me for the wedding and then you know every other thing" ...

 She stated, bending down, she was strong enough to narrate it I thought, till I noticed my shirt was wet of tears already .

"I miss them, I miss my family, I wish they can give me the chance to apologise, I wish they can give me the chance to show them that I have changed, I wish I can still race with henry, I wish I can still pinch my mom, gist with my dad and live happily again" 

It got all emotional and I pulled her up 

"don't worry I will help you get to henry, you just have to keep calm, it will get better " ...I assured her.

"you have tried so much for me darling, since I met you, I have known happiness again, but helping me get back with my family, that's the greatest thing you can ever do for me" ..  She said .

"I will get you to talk with Henry when the time is right " .. I assured her.

"thanks darling" 

I turned on the home theatre.

"let me be tonights DJ please " ... 

"okay sweet pie " 

She played Austin mahone's  all I ever need, and then she crawled back into my hands , pressed my lips on hers and then I found us in same position the next morning .
