MELINA'S POV

 The events of yesterday keeps playing in my head, fear grips me  I kept on crying, Riel's father whom was going to get back on his feet traveled back this morning .

I had checked on mom and she has been doing what she does best , since she came to the scene and met us , she has been crying uncontrollably .

Immediately a knock came at the door "it should be charity and Christie " I thought.

I stood from my bed, my face could show that I have not eaten, and the way my face was swollen, one can tell that I have been up throughout the night .

"I will come back immediately I dropped dad " ... This words of Gabriel kept on ringing, he has been trying his best to keep me same.

I took seconds and thought about, how she is fairing, I pitied her .

"hello Lina " .

To my utmost surprise it was Hillary and henry, Hills being the trios crown had a way of making me laugh, henry the matured mofo.

"How did you guys find me" .. . I managed to ask .

"Who wouldn't find senator Max's house, by the way the securities queried the hell out of us before we got to this door handle so can you stop already?" ... Hillary said as he pushed me off the way .
"Big headed fish" ..

. henry added as he tickled me .
I was surprised that it was coming from henry, Hillary didn't seem surprise, they are close friends and sure they should know that crazy side, but sure  outside  the trio nobody has seen this crazy henry .

"Sorry Lina, we heard about your dad being kidnapped and we know this emotional Lina that people don't know, so we decided to come help you loose a little of it … hope you don't mind" ... Henry said as we sat in the sitting room .

I actually wanted this, but I thought charity and Christie would have thought of this since they knew me so well, they should have been here to cheer me up but friends fail.

"Was it through the news that you heard it, and sure you guys don't turn on to state news" ... I said forcing myself to laugh .

"nope Gabriel called us minutes after the incident, we couldn't come straight away so we had to make up for today" ... Henry said.

"That's nice of you both" ..

"Don't say, we are family ...duh .. Gabriel is brother" ..Hillary adds .

"So where is he?" ... Henry cuts

"he ERM..." I remembered that they don't know about the dad" he went to the police station to help us make statement, he should be her in 3hours " ... I comfortably lied .
We started discussing, they were really of great help, Hillary made me laugh so hard, it came to an extent that I forgot my dad was kidnapped .

We played games, ran around the house. we played hide and seek, I had to find Hillary hiding under the dinning table, I never found Henry, nigga was like a ninja .

We made food, nope not we, Henry made food, sweet food, spaghetti have never tasted that better, I never knew he could cook that way, I only thought that Gabriel was the only male cook alive outside the ones that do it as a job .

"I am back " .... Gabriel walks in from the main door .

"Any info mister?" .. Henry throws a question .

"No info yet sir " ... He covered up lime he knew I told them he went to the police station .

Then the thought of my dad crept  in again, its almost 24hours and we haven't heard anything, even if the police hadn't said a thing, the kidnappers should have called already to request for Ransome .

Before I could let out a sigh, I was crying already .

"Lina, you have been like this since last night, can't you just stop, we will find him , relax" ... Gabriel said as touching my neck .

The appetite lost, I just dumped the food and nodded .
"Relax Lina, he is safe, trust me" .. Hillary added.

"Sissy calm your nerves " ... Henry added .

He called me sissy, I was happy I had them around, charity and Christie wouldn't have done better.

Just then another knock and then the person pressed the door bell .

"Do you know who we have here " ...Gabriel asked after he opened the door .

"Who's that " ... We said in unison .

Susan walks in, cat walking, I was surprised, I nearly screamed wtf!!, but I didn't, I stood up go hug her .

"How did you find here, what brought you?" ... I asked trying not to sound offensive , my curiosity was eating me up .

"So do you think senator maxwell will be kidnapped and then the mass media will go dumb?" .. She said with a smile" I have come to help you out, I know how it feels, my dad has being kidnapped once, and you have been nice recently so?" ... She added .

"Susy what's up " .. Henry shocked the rest of us except me, I knew they would get along but if they were a thing I didn't know.

"Am all good Henry, what about you " she replied .

"Woahhh!!!" ... Gabriel exclaimed 

"Is that Henry and susan " ... Hillary adds .

"I cant loath on her for so long, she has been crossing parts so its not bad talking with her, and see she is here too to cheer up Lina unlike charity and Christie, she has a good heart too, so???"... I watched henry defend himself .

SUSAN'S POV
**********

After henry had narrated on how Melina invited me to the party just so that he will talk to me, I picked interest in her, I wanted to be her friend, something I never wanted since secondary school but I felt it to be good.

When I heard that her dad was kidnapped, I felt for her, in as much as she has given me a chance to be happy in life, I was going to be their when she needs people to cheer her up.

Henry texted me that he was at melina's house, he texted me the address after I told him I want to come, his last text was.

"We will act casual in front of them, they don't know that we are a thing yet, Lina might be suspecting but she does not know yet, no babe and prince charming names, see ya !!"

MELINA'S POV cont..

"Let's forget all this and talk something better" .. I said and swerve the discussion even though the trio kept on with eye contacts .

We all discussed, they were really of great help, I don't know how I would have gotten rid of everything, even though it was not yet over but I had the assurance and then I didn't cry that day at least .

Mom came down in the evening with swollen eye, she had slimed down in 24hours , locked her self up the whole day without eating .

"Mom " 

"Melina " 

"it will be alright "...I said, going to hug her.

"it will be alright ma" they all added in unison .

My mom smiled, the first time that day .

We all forced her to eating, my friends made jokes and we all watched her smile .

When darkness covered, Susan left because her mom was calling already promising to come back tomorrow .

"what about school " 

"Don't worry Lina, I can skip for you " .. 

My mouth was ajar when she hugged me and left.

After about an hour , Hillary and Henry were leaving promising to be back the next day .
