THIRD PERSON POV

Matilda woke up with a hangover. What happened? She could hardly remember last night but it all came back to her in a rush. She remembered Legolas' frightening words and it have her the strength to get up to her feets. Her eyes spun and she felt herself being tossed around the room by a force. She was drugged and it was still working. Matilda knew Legolas' was responsible and he only did this to keep her in check. She went for her door and tried to open it. The knob was stiff and cold. Legolas had her locked in and the key was missing even her spare which she hid under the carpet. Only the maids knew where that was...Those bastards! They were conniving with Legolas. It wasn't like they had a choice. Matilda retreated to the window which was nailed shut likewise. "What the fuck?" She yelled. Her palms immediately lightened up and she threw the ball of light at the window. To her dismay, tye window remained unaffected and there wasn't even a crack to show for the effort she just put into it. Magic! Legolas was quick with for her liking. The mindlink was static and a reminder to her that it was not working. She needed to get out of here. Matilda collapsed on her bed and deep in thought, her eyes trying to focus on an object without feeling dizzy or the urge to throw up. It was almost a lost cause then she spotted something. The airways in the roof were a easy escape. Even the witty Legolas had not noticed that. Matilda knew the mansion in and out and could navigate around even if she was blind. She immediately gathered objects around the room to make a ladder. Her chair and her dressing table was enough for the task and she did away with the screws keeping the ducts sealed. She carefully dropped the metal seal on her bed and used her chair to keep the door shut in case anyone got ideas. Using her slender body, she successfully maneuvered her way through and was soon up the ducts. The air there was moist. Moist and dirty. It worsened her hangover of whatever she was drugged with but Matilda kept pushing on. The cobwebs got into her hair but she would worry about that Later. Someone's life was in danger. Matilda soon saw an opening. It was in the gallery. A place nobody visited except her and even at rare occasions. Using a fireball, she blasted the seal off it's hinges. It was a bit loud but she doubted anyone would notice. The space she made was big enough for her to slip through and from the gallery, she could find a window that led outside the house. She just hoped she would get to Damian and fast.

DAMIAN'S POV

Kalim had gone as early as daybreak to the library obviously to read more about his family than move on. The fight I had with Avery was the only thing that lingered in my mind. What did I do wrong that made Avery lash at me like that? To make matters worse, I lost my temper and control over my demons. Was I really a monster? Avery's words rang in mind like an alarm. I couldn't control myself! That girl was drama and it was best I forgot her for some time. She always comes back running after all. A sudden bang at the door seized me with joy because I suspected it was Avery however the smell that hit me when I went to the door was different. It smelt like lust. Yes! The vanilla type. It had to be Matilda. I opened the door and it was definitely her. She looked different though. He hair was unbrushed and was covered in dirt and cobwebs. She looked tired and her dress wasn't right. It was almost like she was coming from a girls night gone wrong. It reminded me of what Kalim said. "I need to tell you something." She spoke, her steps almost like a drunkard. "Oh! Is it about how you have someone else in your life? " I snickered. I probably should have heard her out first but my rage was building and all thanks to my fight with Avery. "What's that supposed to mean?" She retorted. "That you have another man in your life and yet you always come here! What are you after?"  Matilda looked hurt but she was good at concealing it, "I have a betrothed but that doesn't mean I love him." Matilda revealed. I was really buying her innocence. In fact I was beginning to suspect she was trying with me only because of the bond and natural attraction i shared with her. "You think I'm with Legolas?" Matilda quizzed, disgusted by what I just thought of her. I didn't want to go that far but I felt she was the reason Avery and I had a fight. I was probably blaming the world for my dilemma right now. Matilda lifted her palm and led it right at my face. I caught it before she could complete what she intended to do.. "I hate you!" She spat, her eyes welling with tears. "Do you?" I quizzed, reading her like a book. She fell silent knowing well what I meant. "I'm sorry." I sincerely apologised. Matilda did not seem pleased however. She was still hurt and felt betrayed. I hardly knew what came over me but I approached her and went for her lips. She retracted faintly but she eventually gave in. I started by rubbing my lips ever since slightly against her cheek, that touch sent shivers i could sense like electrodes on her skin and those shivers that made her  body tremble. I did away with the party gown she was wearing and got to see her beautiful slender body. I eyed her black lingerie. She flushed and I could sense her doubts. "If you want me to stop, tell me now," i whispered but she said nothing. The only thing that could pass out as words were her slow moans which motivated me to go further. I led my mouth against the hollow of her temple and gently grazed the line of her cheekbone. I was suddenly overwhelmed with the desire to take her right there. My instinct is took over and I ripped off the bra that kept the goodies hidden. Matilda squirmed but out of sheer surprise. Then she did the most surprising thing of all. She leaned on me and held me tight, kissing me slowly whilst doing away with my shirt and yet still pulling me harder against her. I groaned softly at each stolen kiss, each time her hands touched my skin. I wanted more than this. "The room?" I asked wanting to know if she was ready. She nodded and that was all the answer I needed.  The s*x was amazing. I had never expected such a thing from Matilda. She was still n*ked on my bed and I guiltlessly examined her under. It was a wonder she was pink there too. I watched her eyes gently bath and she roused. "I feel..." No! I put a finger to her mouth to hush her. She seemed a bit worried with a bang of fear. "What?" She demanded. I was not sure but I could sense someone else in the house. It's perfume smelt like Woody vanilla cover the scent of Tobacco. The loud steps the fellow took and the whispers were just enough to confirm my suspicions. "I think faebloods are here." F*ck! I will Matilda curse and jump out of the bed. "Damian you have to go" Matilda said in a rush, slipping back to her party dress. "What's wrong?" I asked walking up to her in my skin. She held my face and stared at them in a familiar way and almost like it was a parting gift. "Don't come to the wedding. Legolas has something big planned and it could kill Avery, Henry and maybe even Kalim. All I know for now" The door creaked and someone nudged on tye doorknob, twisting it in an attempt to open it. "Go!" Matilda pleaded.

The door was blasted off and the faebloods did come in but I was gone. Using my inhuman speed, I raced for the window and out of the house. In a minute, i was away from the house. I could see the other faebloods questioning Matilda. The mindlink informed me what was going on. They were checking to see if Matilda had been with me or spilled their plan out. I needed to track Avery down and to so that I needed to swallow my pride.

LEGOLAS' POV

I called for the rogue that so happened to be my niece to receive judgement. She is so head strong and thinks she will always have her way. I was here to probe that wrong. Matilda was brought In by a guard i immediately dismissed. "So what's my punishment uncle for leaving the house?" Her comment was to piss me off, the defiant beauty. "I just wanted to thank you." I watched the hard shell she encased herself in dissolve. "What d-o you-u mea-an?" She stammered. Now I could enjoy myself. She was worried and I liked her being uncomfortable. It was best u spilled the beans before she died of anxiety. "I wanted to you to tell Damian. Did you think I would let you ruin my plan like that?" She was struck, unable to piece the puzzle. "Now I'm sure Avery will come. She's the hot headed one isn't she? And Damian he's the controlling one and she doesn't like that. Just like you defy me." I revealed, relishing in pure delight that i was winning this game of cards. "You're wrong!" Matilda spat back. "Time will tell niece only time will tell." Matilda said a threat under her breath and walked out on me. I was not stupid enough to let her go. She would probably find a way to converse with Damian again. "Victor!" I called and he immediately appeared towering over Matilda. "You?!" There was shock and disbelief in her voice. The dart went straight for a bobbing vein and Matilda fell flat losing consciousness immediately. She might not appreciate me now but when I was done with what I had in store for my opposition, she would change.

(That's all for today. Might finish it tomorrow. Say no to depression)
