I didn't know what to do and I was lost in thought and then I heard Jack say am taking you home. I followed him silently and we went home. I went straight to my room and locked the door. Nana came and knocked but I just barked at her to leave. Just then my phone rang and oh God it was my better half . He doesn't know about the drama going on in my life . We talked for some time trying as best I can to sound ok . You have lately been very busy . You leave immediately after lectures is something bothering you ? He asked . No my love its dad he wants my help these days I lied. So can we go out on Sunday?  I can't say no to that but I will first see these days dad wants me at home I said. Ok love take care I will call you back later.

I dialled Nancy's number and told her everything to my surprise she answered,  I was about to call you because Jack has been here with two other men . They asked when I last saw you, searched my apartment and left. What are we going to do? I asked breaking into tears . Let me first call your sister and Vicky I will give you the feedback.  I was so restless I wanted to run away but I wasn't sure so I waited and waited and waited untillmy phone rang and it was my sister. Hey sis I said almost a whisper

.  Hi my other half she said you sound restless and afraid but don't worry I won't let that monster to hurt you. Be patient I have a plan and am sure it will work out. Rest up for now and let's talk tomorrow.  I love you more than life itself she said and then hung up. 

I don't know what my sister is up to but she sounded so confident.  On Saturday morning I received a message from her saying its now the game just began. I didn't know what she meant but I just smiled and prayed its in my favour. I went down and found dad already reading news papers. I greeted and he didn't answer so I just went in kitchen to help nana prepare breakfast.

Imara's pov

It's been two days and today we have been discharged from the hospital.  Faruk is healing slowly and as I sat on the cold floors of the hospital I thought about what to do. In this selfish world the rich rule and there's nothing you can do to such people if you don't have money. As I was still thinking I received a call from Nancy and what she told made my heart to boil with rage. I have to do something before things get out of hand. I took faruk home and then dialled my sister's  number. She sounded so weak and worried and tried my best to comfort her and I decided to do something starting the next morning.  .immy had told me everything about the company and I knew so well that the cctvs are only inside buildings. Since Mr Abbey has a lot of blood on his hands and does a lot of nasty things he has no cameras outside.

I dialled Nancy's number and asked for Jack's contact.  After getting the number I took a quick shower and applied some make-up in order to look more like immy. I put on blue jeans and a white t-shirt, put on black boots carried a small bag and went to the company. I Dialled jack's number using my old phone asking him to meet me outside. I made sure no one else saw me. So immy you made up your mind and your here to say the truth.he said smiling in an evil way. Have you seen dad ,I asked pretending to be worried.  What do you mean ? He asked I haven't seen my dad I said tears coming out now. Please call him and tell him am scared of the dark. Tell him to come to me. Please call him. I cried. It's ok let me go and call him right away you can come in and wait . No I have to go now . I said turning and I left.

I smiled to myself its time to play mind games with these fool's. I was sure immy was home with that monster.  I went back home and I waited for a call . Am sure  immy will call me anytime soon . I have to make Mr Abbey believe Jack has a problem in order to rescue my sister from that evil man. I went and woke faruk up who had slept again . I made him to move around the house so he could get some energy and later went to prepare food in the kitchen . I had just entered the kitchen then I my phone rang. It was immy as expected.  What have you done sister she said without even greeting. Look here sister I have to make Jack look like his sick in the head so that I can carry out my plan. Trust me I have got it all planned out. I added. Oh your right I wish I grew up with you. You seem to have all the answers that why I love you . She said. So what happened I asked and she told me everything and I burst out laughing.  We hung up and I went back to the kitchen. 

Immy's pov

 We were having breakfast in complete silence then his phone rang. He looked at it and then went to pick it in the sitting room. When I had him call out Jack's name I went to eavesdrop my Heart was beating fast thinking they have seen faruk.  What do you mean?  He asked. Are you playing with me? How can she be there when am sitting with her right now? Do you think am stupid Jack.  Ok let me come and see her. He hung up and I quickly went back to the dining table. He came back and looked at me for a while but didn't say anything.  He called nana and asked her if I had left the house earlier but she said no . He went and asked the gateman who also said no. He then picked up his car keys and left without sayiia word to me.

I knew this is all imara's doing and trust me am so proud of her. She's the best sister one can ask for. We talked for some time and then hung up. Dad came back later and asked if I had gone out. I remembered what my sister had told me. She said make him believe and trust you again. Cry if you must she added. I looked at this man who calls himself my dad and waited for him to ask again .

. He asked and I broke down in tears and said, is it true I was just adopted and am not your daughter?  Why are you treating me like this?  You accused me of meeting a man I know nothing about . You sent your men and messed up my friends place and now you're accusing of going out to .wet Jack yet we have been both together in house. How can such a thing even happen?  How can be in two places at once?  Last time I was here with you and still you accused me of taking a guy out from the basement.  Please dad tell me who my real parents are. Even if they are poor I want to see them now. I said crying so hard. I was crying because I regret so much being born to a man like him. 

He hold me in his hands without saying anything for a very long time. Am sorry princess he said hugging me tight.  Deep in my heart I smiled and heaved a sigh of relief. Later when he left I called imara and told her what's happening.  She laughed out loud and said its just the beginning so ththd y better prepare for what's in store for them.
