the list your hostel master gave me", my mum said some minutes after breakfast about the time I decided to beat that
stupid Lu-Keng that had been giving me a tougher time since I was given a Mortal Kombat software from a classmate.
The day kept gliding like an ice skater, swiving with millions

compound was filled up with cars belonging to the parents of boarders but for we that our parent doesn't own a car we came either with our "Legedes-benz" or use a public two-legged motor. "Kola, get over here!, seems you want to get de-badged, I am not sure you know the tenacity of the position given to you, you the so-called hostel prefect." those were the welcoming words from the mouth of my hostel master Mr Tayo (famously known as Skabio, which most of us ridicule because the name sounds more like that of a hardened criminal)

questions asked from one person to another. Everyone looked so neat and fresh as usual especially every first day of hostel resumption. Boys advertised the professionalism of their Barbers and the females their hair stylist. "Kola, you are even around" said a tall ebony perfectly framed girl, hearing her voice I knew who she was. "Janny, how's the holiday?, sorry i did'nt ask about you when I arrived, I have been so occupied".We kept talking for about five minutes and each time she talks I tried hard to look her in the face, She was just too... "It's 6:30, I guess fellowship should be starting now'' Kunle said to Tunde, or isn't it Kolswaggs?'', "yea, and it's gonna be at the general hall" I replied with a grin. The fellowship started and lasted for 30 minutes, then afterwards the Proprietress, a tall young-looking woman in her diamonds who has an ebony skin and a long dark-grey hair resting on her shoulder, famously known for her love for kids and aspiration of building a better
generation, said she wanted to have a discussion with the SS3 students and then the prefects. The long meeting ended and everyone descended into the Dinning hall to eat. Prep started immediately after food and it ended as early as 9'pm.We were told to prepare for the next day and also to press our clothes with Electric iron if we haven't done so at home.
While I was laying on my bed about to sleep, I said to myself "This is my last year here, enjoy every moment, get what you came for which is nothing other than success". I slept off, dreaming of how my the long days ahead.
