"You must not do such things again, you know some of those boys aren't matured and their parents won't like hearing them passing trough those type of fun"

The hostel master said while standing at the doorway in his blue singlet and orange short looking at Tade fiercely. Another morning is here, everyone woke up and was at the dinning hall for morning devotion. The devotion was stretched with explanations on each verses in proverbs 24."At verse 7, it says,"

True wisdom is unattainable for a fool; He has nothing to say in the city gate"....that simply means a fool....."the hostel mistress read and was explaining and sometimes adding folktales, sorry life experiences that may or may not go with the context. "Guy be alert o, if you no one stand up..."

David a short bottle necked boy said when he noticed my head was tilting off balance . If you are caught sleeping during devotion, you might be told to stand altrough until it ends, sometimes you might be standing for 2 hours!. You could clearly see some hacky-pranky played by the boarders to avoid been caught by the hostel master or mistress.

Fikayo a chubby and smooth cheeked boy in SS1 usually known for his love for playing Clarinet and Saxophone could be seen at the pillar adjacent to the doorway shaking his legs like an Antilogwu dancer of which he as slept off. Tade covered his head with his sweater's hood with his sit antagonizing to the direction of the hostel master and facing the hostel mistress rear.

Tunde used his bought hands to form an arch over his face

. One funny thing is that that doesn't mean when you are called to stand up you would argue because certainly you knew you were caught!. "Bolu! Up"the hostel master commanded which caught Bolu who had been hiding at the back of Janet unaware." But I was not...."she was saying," no but, I caught you"the hostel master said tingling one of his finger and shaking his head at the same time.

The devotion ended and everyone started their duties, racing against time. Once you are done with your duty, you must immediately take your bath, dress up and wait for the food to get into the hall.

. I opened my bag and picked out my timetable and saw I was having Computer and its going to be a double period!.I felt my eyes turning watery, what's going to happen again this time?.

Breakfast was a nourished looking lip-ton tea and loaves of bread. Everyone picked their breads and took their table jugs to the meal servers to fill it up with tea. I plastered by bread with mayonnaise, turned my tea with a spoon, about putting a part of my bread in my mouth I heard

"Kola get in here!", I said. "Sir, but am about to eat?" I replied looking furious. "I said get in here now!",the voice replied. Who else are you thinking, surely you know it was the hostel master. I stood up, dashed into the hostel calculating thoughts of reasons why he called me in."is it the bathroom?, but I told Tayo to make it clean before leaving", I said to myself in a monologue.

"Or didn't Eniola clean the toilet with soap?, I told him the toilet was smelling like spoilt Egusi, just to make him laugh and do his duty, didnt he do it at all? holy crap!.

" Ohhh...or maybe I didn't switch off the room lights?, but I did.just after I laid my newly washed bed spread and pillow case". I kept asking myself series of questions like someone going for an interview until I got to where he was standing, facing the bathrooms. "Kola, get in there and tell me what's wrong with those bathrooms".

I opted in, checking each bathrooms thoroughly and noticing that some " Alakoba" juniors left their pants singlet, hanging on the walls and on the blue curtains stand. Some even left their toothpaste and toothbrush on the ceramic mouth washing basin. I wondered why they didn't forget their brains! I knew I was "completly-finished" and I started to look like someone about to face jungle justice. But that was a matter of speaking, the hostel master just told me to get them in proper shape and make sure it never happened again.
