Eve - Episode 5
.*Okiko village*
Mumiyo ran towards Eve hugging her checking if she were to be injured. "Where have you been? I have been worried sick ShokÄ—" Mumiyo groaned at Eve
ShokÄ— must have been the name of the girl who once lived in this vessel Eve concluded eying the dark beautiful girl that stood in front of her. Her hazel eyes still so bright in the night.
"You have not been home for two days" Mumiyo looked worried still holding Eve's face in between her hands.
"Why do you look different?" She added with all of the other questions still unanswered.
"Different?" Eve bemused
"Yes, look more beautiful, I'm jealous are you using a cream or soap from probably the village babalawo . You know those things are expensive" she pouted and Eve cracked into a smile. No response given and because of Mumiyo's inability to concentrate on one thing she looked over Eve's shoulders ignoring whatever answer ShokÄ— could have given spotting the bald gigantic man next to her.
"is that man stalking you?" She whispered grabbing Eve's arm ready to run if she uttered the word 'yes'.
Eve turned back to the bald man, Ogun.
"Are you stalking me?" Eve asked and Mumiyo looked at Eve in disbelief.
"You don't ask your stalker If they are stalking you and you want to run" she whispered some more in Eve's ear this time more firm making Eve giggle.
"I guess he is an acquaintance of mine. His name is Ogun"
Mumiyo opened her mouth in an 'o' manner looking at the man walking up to him to inspect him

. He looked unreasonably or more like unbelievably big with muscles in the right area. She was almost crushing on the dark statue of a man.
"Hhmmp" she turned away from him and gripped Eve's arm leading her to her house with Ogun following silently.
*The Temple*
"So Ogun has failed and is flocking around with Eve. How pitiful" Oya sneered in anger. Even after I had promised him my presence on his bed. He should be dying to bed me. Oya bit her nails in frustration.
Who could she send out next she thought hard.

. "Ogun was amongst the strongest, why would he just join her. Did she do something to him?" she whispered to herself. "I can't go about causing harm to my beautiful skin" she gave a fustrated sigh. "Maybe I should try another method, just maybe...:
Then it clicked in Oya's head. She had a plan.
*Okiko village*
"Where is Shokè. She is always running round when she has responsibilities" Ibiora paced the room looking to her husband the king.
"Don't worry, she'll be back" he responded
"Yes, you say that cause she is your favorite and you don't discipline her"
"Are you telling me I don't know how to discipline my own children? Watch your mouth woman" the king scolded
"I'm sorry my king if what I said displeased you" she lightly mocked as she bowed her head and left the room.

"Come on. What you waiting for?" Mumiyo pulled Eve to the entrance of the palace.
It was big. It stood three stories long painted all white with trims of gold on the pillars and roofing sheets.
Ogun stated at the structure in awe. 'So mortals had come this far'
"What is this place?" Ogun asked the girl who stood by Eve's side unaware the girl called ShokÄ— was dead because of mortals like her.
"The palace" she answered shocked. Everyone knew that.
"I see" he turned to Eve. "Shall we?"
And without a respond Eve stepped through the doors ready to know how royals ruled on their plane and maybe why her vessel craved death so.
