Anna followed her son out of the hall, as they head back to their house,

Anna could feel the tight grip of her son's hand on her but she did not try to pull away

she knows her son was angry and he won't intentionally hurt her, so she just let it be.

When heading home, both Grey and his mother, passed so many demon's some who wanted to stop Grey and make small talk,

some of them wanted to talk about his achievement or the party,

but Grey brushed them off, he does not make small  talk with people, he doesn't like to socialize with people,

he just don't understand why the demons don't seem to get the hint that he does not want to talk.

Hey Grey, a female demon Erna said as she stopped in front of Grey, blocking him from moving,

Erna is always a pest in Grey's life she always shows up randomly and anytime she sees Grey she always stops him.

Grey just stood as he eyed her from head to toe before his gaze settled on her face, 

Erna threw her hair backward and ran her fingers across Grey's chest, shamelessly flirting with him,

and not even caring that his mother was standing there with him.

I will like to escort you to the party, later tonight, she said as she continue to run her fingers across his chest, 

She leaned forward trying to steal a kiss from him, but Grey roughly pushed her making her stumbled back.

"You are not my type", he muttered as he pushed past her and continue his journey home with his mother by his sides.

Anna actually smiled when his son pushed Erna, she does not like her, and she thinks she only wants her son because of the status he held in the demon's zone.

On getting home, he went into the bathroom and strip off his clothes,

he glanced at the mirror and he could see the marks he has gotten from fight with Angels, some from his brother and his uncle.

Yes, his uncle do leave marks on his body, he is not only his uncle but also his master,

there was one time, Grey failed to return home with an Angel,

his uncle tortured him, and lock him up through out that day, 

Grey run his hand through the scar's on his body, he sigh softly as he put on the shower

He stepped in, allowing the water run down his body, as he enjoyed the warmth of the water on his skin.

 

Few minutes later he step out of the shower, he dried himself up and put on a clean outfit

He made his way to the living room, on getting there he saw his mother sitting at the couch and staring at nothing in particular,

Grey just shook his head as he sat down.

He always wonder what his mother thinks about, sometimes she would be lost in thought and not even know he is in the same room with her.

Grey put on the television and flips through channels,

the sound from the television, pulled Anna out of her thought,

she glance at her son whose focus was on the television, she wonders how long he has been sitting there.

Are you hungry? Anna asked 

Grey shook his head in response as he continue to watch the television,

he heard his mother sighed but he did not bother to ask her what the problem was,

he knows she won't tell him anyways and he was not in the mood to argue.

Not after his encounter with his brother, who always gets on his nerves,

he does not want to transfer the anger to his mother,

if not they will both trun their house to a screaming center, so he thinks the best thing to do is to just ignore her.

Grey could feel his mother's eyes on him, but she was not saying anything 

What is it mom? Grey finally asked his mother without even looking at her direction 

You know you would soon find your soulmate, Anna said quietly

I don't need a soulmate mom,

Grey does not even know why his mother always talks about soulmate,

he doesn't want one, he just think having a soulmate is a big distraction, and it always makes a person look weak.

Everybody do get one, whether they like it or not, Anna said raising her voice a little at her son,

Grey did not seem to mind, he knows his mother was angry,

it was in the tip of his mouth to ask his mother why she did not get a soulmate,

because he knows his father was not the soulmate of his mother,

but he swallowed the word quickly, because he does not want to hurt his mother feelings.

I don't need a soulmate mom,

let's not stress this issue, besides I don't want to be Paired with one of those stupid female demon's,

he thought about been paired with Erna, he shook his head quickly.

"That will be a disaster" he said to himself 

Those female demon's are so annoying and besides am better off on my own he added

What if your soulmate is not a demon? Anna asked quietly

Grey  quickly turned his head to face his mother, he has not even turned once since they started the conversation,

he looked at his mother as if she does not know what she is talking about, he studied his mother intensely

What do you mean by that statement? Grey asked as he glanced to the door to find it lock,

he breathe a sign of relief because if any demon had heard his mother statement she would have been in trouble.

I don't understand what you mean by that Grey said,

I am a demon and I will be paired with one, that how it has been he said as he turned his attention back to the television, 

Anna shook her head, without saying another word

"If only he knows" she said to herself

Grey expected his mother not to answer his question, she always does that and he has gotten use to it.

He quickly changed the subject

Are you going for the party tonight, he asked

No, I rather stay at home, she said giving her son a smile,   knowing the reason why he asked the question,

she stood up and patted her son's back, before she left her room

Grey expected her to say "no," he knows his mother does not usually attend parties,

but he just asked so he could changed the subject they were discussing.

Ariel was sitting quietly in the living room as she watches her family interact with each other,

she loves her family so much, even after everything they have been through, they are still strong together.

Her mother Elena and her father Raguel actually told her the things they face in the hands of the demons,

Even her Grandad Samael, lost his soulmate in the hands of the demons,

it always makes her angry to think about those demons who hurt her family.

Even though her family does not support violence,

she is determined to kill any demon she senses around,

At least that would make her feel better, after all the things they have made their family pass through,

they separated her mother from her father Samael for so many years.

She shook her, thinking about demons really makes her angry, 

" They are not worth it" she said to herself

She looked up and saw her uncle, Michael sitting alone and looking at nothing in particular,

Michael was not actually her uncle, but yet she still refers to him as her uncle,

she always wonder what always occupy his mind.

She stood from where she was sitting, and walk up to meet her uncle,

when he saw her, he gave her a little smile 

What's up? Michael asked

Nothing, Ariel said with a smile as she sat down with her uncle

Michael scoffed, 

Are you sure? He said with an amused expression 

Yes am sure, Ariel said with a smile

Well I was wondering if you like to come with me to stretch my wings,

and maybe teach me some couple of moves she said with a smile.

Michael was a really great warrior in heaven, her father Raguel is also a warrior Angel

but she always ask Michael for help whenever she wants to learn something new,

her father does not get angry that she always go to Michael for help, instead he encourages her to always ask things from Michael.

Her father knows that Michael needed the company and engaging him in things will always keep his mind away from the things he is constantly thinking about.

Michael brust into laughter, making Ariel to laugh too,

I knew you needed something you little pest, he said as he ruffles her hair 

Ariel just shrugged with a smile.

Michael smiled at her too

They immediately saw a bright light in the living room,

her grandad Raphael and her father Raguel both landed in the living room.

Raguel immediately spotted the smile on Michael's face, it really made him smile

Hey dad, Ariel said, with a smile

Her grandad Raphael just gave her a smile and also ruffles her hair before he made his way to Samael.

Hey, Raguel said,

what are you two up to he asked 

Uncle Michael is taking me out later, to stretch my wings and teach me some moves Ariel said as she glances at her uncle 

Really? Raguel asked 

Ariel nodded her head

Ariel! Come help me set the table, her mother  Elena, called her,

she immediately stood up and race down to the kitchen 

Slow down dear, her grandmother Maria said with a little chuckle

Sorry grandma she said with a smile as she moved to where her mother was standing 

Raguel looked at his daughter, you could tell that he was really proud of her

She is all grown up, Raguel said to Michael with a smile

Michael actually smiled back at him, 

Their friendship, has blossomed over the years, and Michael usually talks to Raguel anytime he feels like, and Raguel was really glad.

"Thank you" Raguel said

Michael looked at him with raised eyebrows,

for what exactly? He asked

For helping Ariel out, Raguel said

Seriously? Michael said 

He just shook his head, and walked pass Raguel to the dining table,

he stop and trun his back, he shot Raguel a small smile before he continue his way to the dining table.

Raguel laughed and also joined the rest of his family on the dining table,

when he got there he gave his soulmate, and wife a lovely kiss on the lips,

yes wife, they both actually got married before Ariel was born,

even though they knew it was not actually necessary but they did it anyway, and Raguel always smile at the wedding ring on his wife's finger.

 

Ariel watches the way her parents Interact loving with each other,

it made her really smile, she admires the relationship that exist between her parents and always wish she could have one like theirs.

She sighed softly, as they all sat down to eat their food quietly,

when they were done, she helped with the dishes 

She immediately left the dining room, after she was done with dishes, and head to her  room 

She sat down at first, but she was not feeling comfortable, so she just lay on her bed, as she sighed softly

I know he is out there, and he will come someday for me and I will happily receive him 

"I will be waiting for you" 

"My soulmate"

Ariel said as she closes her eyes and drift off.
