They awoke few hours later on the couch of my living room while I and Derick found our fingers fascinating.

"At last they awake" I said as I watched them stare on the couch before sitting upright with hands placed upon their heads looking dazed and confused but just as soon reality set in for them and their eyes widened in horror as they started back at me. "I guess they remembered" I shrugged and looked away . I wasn't exactly ready for Derick's question and answer time.

"We remember" James sobered up and Rina nodded looking at me with something that seemed to resemble fear. I smiled

"So you remember trying to kill me then?" I raised a brow and Derick tuned towards me with shock "they what now?" he asked his eyes still on me

I pointed at the two on the other side of the room "They tried to kill me, well their evil part" I tried to explain and left it with a shrug. I was such a snitch.

"We are so sorry" Rina spoke up feeling guilty but I just chucked and waved a hand like it wasn't a big deal.

"So how did you split in half?" Derick asked he seemed to have forgotten my near death path

"I cant remember" they both winced in pain as the other tried to remember.

"Easy people, no need for details right now" I moved from the couch and walked towards them "Are you guys hurt anywhere? I inspected their bodies but Rina got off the couch and held me by the shoulders peering at my wound.

"You the one hurt" she met my eyes. I groaned

. She pulled away quickly "so sorry" she was so worried, she looked adorable.

I closed my eyes and took deep breathes to calm my nerves "it's alright"

Well done Death's voice sent a shiver through me. My eye lids flew wide open and met with Derick's. It's time the real games got started. Send those pawns home, we are having a talk.

"um"

"I think it's time you left" Derick interjected, his face stern.

. He was serious and I wasn't shocked when they got up immediately and backed away slowly trying not to make any wrong moves.

"Sorry, he isn't in a good mood, we will meet in school" I tried to explain to them and gave them a bright smile that seemed to calm them down before they finally left.

As I slowly turned back to meet Dericks gaze his voice stopped me in my tracks, it was low and almost primal, full of annoyance maybe anger but I could feel his blood-lust all over the room

"What do you mean by the real game, I thought we were playing all along?" I wouldn't say he asked it felt more like a threat

Death laughed. You haven't even started to see the horrors. Think of this round as a training wheel to get you accustomed to your powers and such.

"And those people we killed?" Derick kept at it.

Those were training pawns. People you needed to kill for yourself, people who betrayed you, people you wished to seek revenge at, people that will definitely make you kill just to get a feel of it and I know, you enjoyed it all.

First off, since when did death answer someone who was rude or since when did Derick become rude especially being death's favorite pawn.

And by training pawns I mean they had no master. He laughed some more and I was compelled to join him except I didn't .

"And what should we expect in the real game to come?" Derick asked still on edge. The blood-lust round the room got thicker but what was strange was the fact that I wasn't scared better still I was drawn to it like moth to flame my tongue found my lower lip.

Let your imagination run wild. Death left

His posture became rigid, his veins bulging. It was beautiful I couldn't breathe and when he snapped his gaze towards me my legs became weak, my knees found the floor directly in front of him as I took his hand kissing it.

His now black stained eyes watched me. The Derick of the night of his parent's killing was back.

This time She came out and I didn't stop her as I rose to my feet and settled nicely on his legs feeling like a queen and that was when I saw it with her eyes; the bloody crown on his head and the bodies that laid at his feet but you know what was real?

It was the smirk on his face because we both knew, we were going to enjoy this bloody game. I smiled.

Monsters... I like the story though. It speaks from a killer's point of view. Criminal Mind.
