Eve's POV
There I was at the Kame corporation parking lot, my head against  the steering wheel questioning my decision....

Am I doing the right thing?????

I inhaled and exhaled a few breaths to calm myself down but it didn't seem to work...

"Eve you have to do this.Leave him before he leaves you...He will get tired of you...." The monster whispered...

"But I love him and I don't want to leave him...." I cried out...

"He doesn't love you Eve...If he did he wouldn't have let you stay at your parents' house. He would have called you and forgiven you for kissing Mason...."

"Maybe he is still mad at me...." I stuttered...

"Or maybe he has grown tired of you...Let him go . don't be selfish and let him be with the woman who will make him happy...."

"You are right...I am not good enough for him. He deserves better...."

"So go and break up with him...."

"But....."
"Just do it!!!!!!"

As I walked into the building,all eyes were on me...Some looking surprised,others shocked and others sending deadly glares.

I bet wondering how on earth I could cheat on such an amazing man...I have been asking myself the same question for the past twenty four hours...

I ignored the glares I got and walked confidently over the bank of elevators and pressed my finger on the button that would take me to Nicholas' floor...

After being whisked to the tenth floor, the door slid open and I was in the lobby...

As I walked out of the elevator, my body was paralyzed with fear of how Nicholas was going to handle the bad news or maybe to him it will be good news.I don't know...

"Mrs Kame welcome...." I was approached with Nancy,Nicholas PA...

"Hello Nancy, I would like to talk to my husband...."

"Sorry Mrs Kame, Sir Nicholas is still in a board meeting...."

"Okay,I will wait for him...." 

I walked to the seated area with two black leathers sofas and sank gracefully on one of them...

"Aren't you going to wait for him in his office as usual?????" Nancy asked,surprised by my action...

"No!!!!!"

"Can I get you anything?????"

"Just go back to doing whatever the hell you were doing before I walked in...." I said in a pissed tone...

"Sorry Mrs Kame....." 

I nodded and reached for my phone in my purse...I have been trending in Twitter since my so called affair hit the Internet and honestly it wasn't as bad...

Yes they were people who called me a hypocrite,slut, ungrateful brat,homewrecker and all sorts of names but I am glad my fans were on standby to defend me when need be....

It's weird that instead of losing followers due to my despicable behaviour, I had gained one hundred thousand more followers..

The funny thing with the people of this country is they have the ability to make you or  break you. It depends with what's convenient for them... 

I was busy scrolling down through some comments on Twitter when my phone was suddenly snatched from my hand....

"What the hell???" I snapped my head up only to find an angry face looking at me...

"Can I help you????" I asked coolly...

"How dare you show your face in my brother's office after cheating on him????"

Wow!!!!The nerve....Like for how long as she known Nicholas???Two seconds....

"Can I have my phone back????"

"I want you to leave right now and never step your feet on this company again...." She said in a cold lashing tone...

"For the last time, can I have my phone back??" I said in a calm and collective voice...

I had not time to trade insults with a girl who was either stupid or some few coins her brother had been giving her as  pocket money were starting to get into her head.

"My brother deserves better

"Who hurt you???Why are you so bitter about something that doesn't concern you???Am I married to you or Nicholas???!" I snapped at her, standing from the sofa....

"It concerns me because he is my brother...."

"Your brother???!"I chuckled...
"What do you know about Nicholas Kame young girl???If I told you to describe him in twenty words I am sure you wouldn't...So before you go shouting like a mad woman in the market always remember that I am practically more of a family to him than you will ever be...." 

"I am his family....We are related by blood and that can never change...But he can divorce you and cut all ties with you...."

"When is Nicholas' birthday????Whats is his favorite colour???Food???Favourite holiday destination???What does he hate????What does he love???" I walked closer to her and now we were nose to nose...

She started stammering pretending to think hard....

"You see you can't even answer the simple questions...Mary or whatever you name is, if I were you I would watch how you talk to me...I was Eve Minnie Raine before I became Eve Minnie Raine Kame...If I divorce your brother right now nothing would change,I would still have the same lifestyle. Money  has never been a problem to me but I am not sure I can say the same about you...." I said Icily, squeezing her shoulders.

"You are like a bug under my shoe that I can crush at any second so don't mess with me.." I added...

"I am not scared of you and I will make sure that very soon my brother will leave you like you deserve,you whore..." She spat out with disgust....

"You are a worthless tiny bitch with nothing in her name.

"What's going on here???" A voice thundered behind us...

We both turned around and looked at Nicholas, a hurt visible on his face...

"Nicholas,my brother I was just telling this cheat to leave. She shouldn't be here after what she did to you...." Her voice trembled like she was about to cry...

"That's not your call to make...." Nicholas replied dryly and walked to where I was...

"Hey are you okay????" He asked in a concerned tone...
"Yeah...."

"Let's go to my office....."He reached down and intertwined our hands....
 Okay this is new!!!
I expected him to take sides with the sister...

"Maureen,next time you should watch how you talk to my wife. You disrespect her, you disrespect me....."

The so called sister was more embrassed than hurt..She should have known better  than  to act like she knew what's best for two people in love. You will always be left in the middle.

After we got into his office, he pulled his hand away.
"What can I do for you Eve???" He walked to his chair and sat down....

This wasn't how I had planned it  would go in my head. I thought I would walk into his office,break up with him and walk out but after how he defended me from his sister, I wasn't sure anymore...

"Eve,what can I do for you????"He arched a perfect eyebrow at me...

I tried to speak but it only came out as a muffled sound..He made me speechless and seeing him on that chair looking all handsome and powerful made me lose all my senses...

He had that effect on me...
"Are you here to apologize????"

I shook my head in disagreement...

"Are you here to have sex???Its been long since I have heard you moan in this office????" An arrogant half-smile appeared on his lips...

Every part of me felt hot and sweaty, memories of the times we have had sex in this office flooding my mind making me dizzy...

"You are thinking about it,aren't you????" His voice was low and sensual....

I swallowed uneasily playing with my fingers....

The only way I could let the words out of my mouth, it's if I wasn't looking at him and so I turned around...

"I want a divorce Nicholas, I am not good enough for you and I want you to be with a woman that will make you happy...." I stammered, my head ducked down...

I could feel his presence dominating me as he gently rotated my shoulders to face him, my head still bent down...

He wrapped my hair around his fist so that I was forced to tip my head back,"Say it on my face Eve...."

I tried to open my mouth but words were stuck on my throat...

Maybe I underestimated the devastating effect he could have on me...

"Are you the one supposed to leave me or the other way round???You are the one who cheated and so you don't have any right to demand something like that from me...."

"I just want you to be happy....."

"That's not upto you...." A felt a sting of pain in those words...

He freed my hair from his grip and stepped back...
"What do you really want Eve????"

"I want you to be happy and I don't feel like I am making you happy...."I sobbed...

"Are you doing this because of me or are you guilty of what you did and can't face me????"

My legs felt heavy against the floor, my body shaking and every instinct crying out for me to turn and leave....

"I am sorry about Mason, I was just drunk and not thinking straight...."

"Are you really taking your medicine Eve????" His voice had a note of annoyance and weary...

"That's not your business Nicholas...I just want to make you happy and you are not understanding my point..." I yelled.

"Put your shit together Eve...." His face became serious and almost displeased...

"I am not enough for you, why can't you understand????"

Why was he not understanding that I wasn't good for him?? That I will never make him happy....

"What gave you the right to make that call that you aren't good enough  for me???Maybe you should start with promising me that you will never kiss Mason again...." His voice cracked with a sheer of disappointment  in it....

His hands splayed across my lower forcing me to be closer to him..

I was breathing hard when he ducked his head to my neck and dragged in a long deep inhale of me...
"I am never divorcing you Eve...." He whispered dangerously....

"But....."

"Eve put your shit together and when you do that I will be here waiting for you.."

"No, I want us to separate....You will one day resent me for not been good enough for you...." 

"Do you really want me to leave you????" His voice deepened...

"I want you to be happy...."

"That doesn't answer my question...."His expression hardened...

I remained silent for a while only for him to attack my lips in a rough kiss, his tongue invading my mouth and taking possession of me...I was breathless....

"I still have that effect on you Eve...." He confessed in an unrecognized voice after breaking the kiss...

I snaked my hand around his head and pulled him to my face kissing him once more....

Slowly he moved away but even before I could blink, he twirled me around and crashed my back into his front.

"Say it????" His face was on the crook of my neck while his arms held me tightly against him...

"I want you Nicholas Kame. Right here and now in this office...." I breathed out, my body aching with thirst...

He carried me bridal style and lied me softly on the black leather sofa...
"Are you sure about this????"

"Shut up!!!!"

His mouth was suddenly upon mine, filling my mouth with his as we tried to get each other out of our clothes...

Luckily I was wearing a short dress which was easy to remove but I can't say the same about his suit....

"Screw the rest!!!!" He meant his shirt and trouser since I had only managed to get the suit jacket off him as  his tongue and skillful hands did wonders to my body...

Finally I was able to unbuckle his belt, unzip his trouser and free the big guy.

I wrapped my legs tightly around him as I waited for my body to break and bow into submission allowing waves of pleasure to surge through me...

After that,we lied there in silence, me nestled in his arms thinking about everything we had shared and shivered deliciously....I couldn't stop smiling...

"Eve maybe the next time you want to break up with me just do it over a text...."

"What????" I shot up from his embrace and looked at him.,.

"I have a meeting in twenty minutes, you should leave. I have already given you what you came for..."

"I thought????" 

"You thought everything is now okay between us..I am still mad at you for kissing Mason, I just wanted to prove to you that you can never resist me. I am like this drug that you can't live without...." His words were not gentle, neither was the look he was giving me...

"How could you do that????" Tears burned my throat, choked me until all I could do was let it out....

"Start getting dressed, we don't have the whole day...."

He picked his jacket from the floor and went into the bathroom. When he came out, he smelled as fresh as a daisy....

"I thought you would be gone by now...." He buttoned his suit and sank on his chair gracefully...

"I can't believe you slept with me to prove a stupid point...." I cussed out but he didn't seem to care...

"I hate you....." I threw my heel at him but he held it before it could hit him...

"Say hello to my mother in-law and please close the door on your way out...." He said icily and began to work on something on his laptop.

I don't know If I was hurt because he used me or I was hurt because he was right.

After slipping into my  dress, I carried my other  heel in my hand and grabbed my purse.

For a moment I looked at Nicholas hoping all this was just a sick joke but he seemed unbothered by everything...

It pissed me off that he wasn't begging me from leaving.

"I am sorry about Mason but playing with my emotions like that wasn't cool...." I threw my other heel at him and this time it hit him on the forehead...

"What the hell!!!!" He rubbed his forehead...

"You are asshole. You are the devil's son and I hope you drop dead!!!"

"What's wrong with you???" He seemed shocked.

"I rather leave than burn this place down..."

I bolted out of there fighting my tears back until I got into my car....

I had to fight against the overwhelming urge to bang my head against the steering wheel for been stupid.

I thought he had forgiven me.
When he said he will never divorce me, I thought we were finally starting a new leaf....

I waited for the monster in my head to remind me that I was a good for nothing, stupid and a fool but all I could hear was the sobs that filled the car....

"How dare he???" I slapped the steering wheel angrily...

As I was driving back home,I closed my eyes for a moment only to open my eyes and see  a pick-up truck appear out of nowhere,honking at me....

I hesitated for a while wanting to end it all but instinctively turned the wheel sharply to the right before hitting the truck and swerved it out of my way missing it by inches...

The car spun off the road and hit a tree.Then everything was quiet...

"Eve!!!!Can you hear me????open your eyes?????"
"I am sorry Love, I didn't mean to hurt you...."

I wanted to open my eyes but I couldn't....
I felt someone slowly pull me out of the car and carry me into his arms...
"Everything will be okay,just hang in there...."

I hate Nicholas as much as I love him. I hope nothing happens to Eve...
