Attitude meets Arrogance - Episode 8

 

Ciara's POV
Finally the fashion show was here... Yeah I was excited but not as much as Natalie who couldn't stop talking about it..

We meet at my house where we got ready before taking an Uber to Pare Eastside where the fashion show was been held.

Natalie decided to go with a simple look: An off shoulder jumpsuit with sequin floral but me on the other hand wore the dress that I had designed for my graduation afterparty which sadly didn't happen...

It was a dress that was made with shimmering metallic crepe that shone under the light... It had a deep V-neck bodice that as captivating and thin spaghetti lines that crossed over my open back gathering at the banded natural waistline. . It also had a translucent overlay on the A-line skirt that allowed a peek at the coordinating lining with side slits..It was radiantly elegant...

"You look gorgeous Ciara..." Max turned me around to have a better view of the dress.
"You will be the most beautiful girl in the fashion show..."Jane said.

"Thanks guys but we need to go..." I held Natalie's hand and literally pulled her from the house to the car that was waiting for us...

On our way there we just talked about the expected guests and what we would want to see in the fashion show....

When we arrived at the event, we got out of the car and walked towards the red carpet where I was hijacked with several fashion designers wannabes...

Yes, I loved selfies and compliments but at times they were tiring...Arrrrrgh!!!!
Yeah I wanna help people fulfill their dreams but not literally hold their hands in every step of the way..

I had some photos taken at the red carpet and walked towards the other guests...Indeed Sebastian didn't disappoint...

I could spot all fashion gurus in the house...Damn I love a room full of fashionistas..

"Hey I love your dress..." A familiar voice said behind me...
Words were stuck on my throat when I turned around only to see my role model wearing  the utmost perfect smile...
Kendi Joy, sweet waters this woman was an icon. Everything she wears brings out her s-xuality and confidence...

"I would like a dress like this," She said blissfully and I nodded my eyes glued on her dress...
"Here is my number, call me..." She walked away.

What just happened??? Did a fashion icon just love my dress???? Watch out world, this girl is making it..Mama, your girl has made it....

"Everyone kindly sit down the event is about to begin..." The Emcee requested and guess who it was David...Yeah the same dude you cheated on me, who got a girl pregnant behind my back, who helped me fulfill my dreams....

Yes, he was an Emcee in a certain cultural event three years ago in my college when he noticed my amazing creative work and referred me to Sebastian and Mary who helped me make my dream a reality...

Maybe I fell in love with him because I was grateful but whatever!!!! He cheated and life moves on.
Who am I kidding??? It hurts like shit....

I looked around for Natalie but she was busy taking selfies with everyone in the room and so I sat my butt down minding my business...

Moment after moment, David's eyes and mine could meet but I chose to ignore...I didn't want to kill him infront of all these people...You get me, I didn't want to humiliate him...

After minutes of waiting the fashion show finally begun...Sebastian officially launched his new clothing line comfortable in style and left the models to do their work in impressing the clients...

Comfortable in style was basically a clothing line that involved sweatpants, sweatshirts, hoodies and tank tops...Sebastian had designed them in  different ways in which the ladies could wear anywhere but still feel comfortable and sexy....

When the models walked the catwalk dressed in the new clothing created, I appreciated the detail and the craftsmanship of every single piece...

The illumination of the clothing on the runway using various form of lighting and special effects was amazing..

. The different soundtracks to each section of the show from different artists, the good job done by the Emcee on keeping the energy of the crowd up and moving the show at the right speed made it the Fashion show of the year...

If that wasn't enough Jaxon Marcias, my one and only got on stage making girls go gaga...

He had on a white dinner jacket paired with black pants and a black bow tie...Yes i dressed him..

When he begun singing, the room was filled with screams as I looked at him with admiration. He was a handsome man...

His first song was Baby..

When singing, he walked around greeting the ladies but when he reached to me, he kissed my hand and winked making my toes wiggle...

Damn, alert!!!! alert!!!! Tears threatening to fall...I don't know why but when he was performing the song I thought he was singing it to me....I felt like it was a sign that we were meant to be...

Imagine him on stage performing and I in the front row supporting him, designing him the best performing set of clothes the world has ever seen...

Then he went ahead and sang the sad song, left behind which left most of the girls in tears before announcing his album launch which was in two months....

I wish his ex knew what she was missing...Who would dump Jaxon Marcias????

After the event was done we walked into the ballroom beside where the fashion show was held for the afterparty..

I walked around looking for Jaxon only to bump into Jordan who I fell into his arms...

Why do I always bump into this arrogant man?????
