Anadia.

Cash finishes the paper work with the officer and I stand besides him as they shake hands, Edwards lawyer, Mr. Park shakes hands with Cash too before hauling a still creppy Edward out of the station.

Edward will be seeing a judge sometime soon because of the photos he posted on the gram about Aroos.

Speaking of Aroos, I turn to her and she looks exhausted, standing beside me but at the same time looking like she is miles away.

"Let's go home?" I say quietly and she nods.

I grab her hand before turning to Cash King.

"Thank you so much for your help Mr. Cash, if you could just tell me how much your time costs I could...".

"What are you doing?" Anaya whisper yells at me as she sidles close.

I turn to her, behind her is Aroofa, she has the starstruck eyes and Kane is standing a little away, amusement in his eyes and in the twist of his lips.

"I'm trying to pay the favour Mr . Cash here has done for us" I say, my eyes telling her not to say anything more.

"Cash, please, no Mr, and it's fine, no need to pay me, this is a favour to my brother" Cash says and I begin to shake my head.

"No, please, let me do something for you.."

"We can't afford it Anadia, give it a rest" Anaya says softly but not softly enough for me because I'm sure Kane hears, his eyes dances and I find myself getting angry.

Why is he so silent?

"Well.. Thank you anyway, have a good night" I say turning to Kane, I open my mouth to thank him when he speaks.

"We have to get your leg checked" He says, softly

"What?" I echo.

Aroofa swallows a breath, Anaya's eyes are burning into the side of my head, I can feel Cash looking at his brother.

Kane conviniently does not look at anyone but at me.

He points to my leg, the pain has dulled but its still there, I know I won't be moving with it for a while.

"We have to take you to a hospital, you might need bandages"

"How is that your business?" Cash asks the question uppermost on my mind.

I look to Cash, he does not look pleased that his brother is making me an offer.

I get the feeling that Cash does not like me, for whatever reason that might be.

Kane doesn't reply, just waits for my response.

"I'm going to be fine, you've done more than enough, you can leave the rest to me from here" I say, gripping Aroos's hands and limping outside, I feel Aroofa and Anaya follow me.

"You seem quick to dismiss me" Kane says, his voice coming from my side, I glance at him,I open my mouth to give him a piece of my mind, to tell him exactly where he can stick his pity when Aroos's hands twitches in my own, I look to her.

I decide to let it go, I have to take my sister home and give her some TLC.

I dismiss him with my back and I turn to Anaya, she's watching my interaction with Kane king, as I open my mouth to ask her to call a cab the sky splits and rain begins to fall.

Seriously?

Are you seriously kidding me?

"Yay,! Rain!" Aroofa breaths and I feel my chest lighten, she loves thunder storms.

I look at my wrist watch and its past 8 in the night, I'm not a fan of walking in this rain so it's going to be a while before we leave this place.

"We could take you home" Kane says and I feel Cash draw in a sharp breath from behind Anaya.

"No, we could not" Cash says.

"You don't have to be so rude" Anaya retorts at that, taking the words right out of my mouth.

. His eyebrow lifting, the light above us doing wonders on his hair.

"Rude?"

"Yes Rude,you've been making snide comments at my sister and I don't like it" Anaya says. Okay, maybe now isn't the time to defend me, seeing as he's her boss and he just helped us from landing into a shit storm.

"Your sister has been refusing help from my brother, in a manner clearly lacking courtesy and here you have the effrontery to say I'm rude?"

"Your brother offered help, it's none of your business if my sister is rude to him, it's their business"

Some might say that statement might be a little hypocritical, I open my mouth to say something but I don't.

I can't bring down Anaya in front of anyone by telling her to stop, boss or not, Kane seems to have the same thought because he doesn't say a thing to Cash either.

Cash opens his mouth but stops when Anaya gets startled by lightning renting the sky.

Anaya might be a strong willed human on many days, but she is as scared of lightning as much as Aroofa loves it.

Cash rolls his eyes,

Anaya just looks mad that the showdown between them has ended.

"Really, we should go to an hospital, if not for you, for your sister, she should get checked" Kane says, Aroofa nods and I break.

Okay then, what's one more favour to receive from Kane King?

"Anaya, Aroofa, you head home and get dinner started, I will go get Aroos checked" I say softly.

Anaya nods.

Aroofa grumbles.

"I want to come with you" Aroofa states. 

"Aroofa..."

"She can come, Cash can take Anaya home, can I call you Anaya?" He says, asking.

Anaya nods, looking surprised.

I look to Cash, he surprisingly does not object to Kane's suggestion.

"Can you get home safely?"I ask her.

" I'm not a baby Anadia "She says and I nod,.

" Where's your car? "She asks cash and it's obvious he's her list favourite person right now, Anaya has a short list of favorite persons, it's consists of only Aroos and Aroofa.

A car beeps in the parking lot as Cash press his key fob to automatically unlock it..

Anaya says nothing to me, just a soft look to Aroos before braving the rain and running to the car.

Cash follows soon.

Kane's car pulls up but I don't make a move, I just watch Cash get into his car and drive off.

It's only then that I turn to Kane.

He's talking to his driver and I see the man hand him a key.

He turns to me after talking to the man, waving me towards the car.

I get Aroos settled in the back and Aroofa climbs in with her, settling together.

I get into the passenger seat and Kane revs the car after imputing the address into his GPS.

After we drive for a minute I turn to him.

"Why are you helping me?" I ask softly and he does not answer for a while so I let the question die.

"I don't know" He says after a while and I turn to study his profile.

He doesn't look at me, just drives.

When we get to the hospital he finally turns to me.

"3 pm tomorrow" He says.

"What?"

"Let's meet and talk tomorrow" He says.

"Why?" I ask, confused.

"Come and you might find out" He says again.

"I'm not going to come" I say.

"You will"

"What? Why would you think that?"

He just smirks before exiting the car and coming around to open mine.

I watch his face and there's no answer to the questions in my head.
