Wrong identity - Episode 3

 

Late in the night i started hearing some strange sounds that really frightened me, but i acted cool assuming nothing was wrong...i used my blanket to cover myself up well,but before that i put on my earphone to listen toi music,so i won't hear some strange sound.I was at full alert through out the night.

IT NOW MORNING (SECOND DAY OF RESUMPTION)

i took my bath as usual,freshen up and getting ready for school,i went downstairs to the dinning table.

Hey mitchelle how was your night?phil asked...i just gave him a slight nod as an answer using the table manner as an excuse so that i wont speak about what i noticed last night,so i won't sound so dumb or look like a little scared girl in front of everyone.

There was a knock on the door

This is strange we don't usually have visitors in the morning,i don't think DAD & MUM is expecting someone Phil said

Will you get up and check who is knocking on the door Mrs Sam ordered Phil

Phil adjusted his chair back and got up and hed for the door.Phil open the door he went out and he shut it behind him,i guessed he went to verify who it was.

When Phil opened the door....it was GRIFFIN GERALD.

Phil eyes were directly at me and he said...hey Mitchelle you've got a visitor.Griffin walked in well dressed in his new school uniform that was well ironed.He greeted everyone present..

Please take your seat and join us for breakfast said Mrs Sam

Young i guess you are our new neighbor,what your name? Mr SAM asked while Mrs SAM was serving Griffin breakfast

My name is GRIFFIN GERALD...Griffin said

Wow you have a great charisma i can see why Mitchelle is close to you...Phil said

Phil looked at his watch...damn am late for work,you guys should wrap it up fast,so i can give you a lift Phil said.....Phil got up from the dinning he picked up his bag and his suit

see you later MUM&DAD...Phil said and dashed out the door hurriedly....Griffin and I stood up

goodbye sir,ma....Griffin said

see you some other time....Mr Sam replied,and we went out in a haste to catch up with Phil.

"THE MUSIC WAS LOUD" you guys are slowing me down...Phil shouted

I opened the door so we can enter the back seat and Phil off the music and started the car.
 

During the drive the car was silent...hmmm hmm Phil cleared his throat and he put on the music and started singing to "OLLY MURS"song "DEAR DARLING" and Griffin started singing, i joined him "dear darling please excuse my writing"phil was now nodding to the song and humming it.When we got to the school gate,we got down,Phil called out hey Griffin...you gat a great voice...he turned to me see you later naughty fish and drove off.

As we walked into the building, all eyes were on I and Griffin, like is this GRIFFIN and MITCHELLE together, I noticed Griffin moved closer to me and held my hands, I was shy though but I loved it, as we walked close to each other, then I saw SELENA angrily staring at me, I just pretended not to see her, I snubbed her as usual. We went in, we did some lessons and school day was over, we were going home as I walked some students, I notice some student was staring at me, one girl was telling her other friend to look at me, 'she is the girl that dating the new guy, which people are discussing in the school chat group online'.
I walked passed them and brought out my phone to check it out, I saw stuff like;
'WOW MITCHELLE IS REALLY LUCKY'
'ARE YOU SURE THEY ARE DATING'
'THE NEW GUY IS CUTE'
'WHAT IS THE DUDE NAME'
'HIS NAME IS GRIFFIN'
'I HATE MITCHELLE, SHE TOOK MY LOVE AWAY'
'ALL I KNOW IS THAT MITCHELLE IS UGLY'
'WHY WILL SUCH A CUTE GUY,FALL FOR HER'
'IT A LIE MITCHELLE IS CUTE, THAT WHY GRIFFIN IS DATING HER'
'CAN SOMEONE PLEASE GIVE ME GRIFFIN NUMBER'
I just put away my phone, so as not to read some useless chat and rumors

. Deep down I was sad and a bit happy. As I walked further I saw a guy standing still, like he was waiting for someone, he was holding two pack of snacks in one of his hands and he was waving with the other one, when I got closer I realized that it was Griffin, he gave me a smile and extended one snack to me.
We walked home singing, smiling and discussing something pertaining the assignments that was given to us in school today. We got to our destination, we separated, I went into my house, he waited for me to go in before he went into his.
I took my bath and stayed in my room, then I was through with the assignment, so I was listening to a song that I wanted to know to play on my guitar 'LET HER GO' by 'PASSENGER', as I was doing that, I now recalled what happened in school today about I and Griffin, I smiled but I still felt sad. It was night already, we've already had our dinner and the evening prayer, MUM and DAD were in their room I guessed they were already asleep, but my eyes was widely opening just having some thought, I looked towards my brother room, I could see some moving light, I was sure he was on his video game, cause he loves games. Then I was trying to sleep, as I closed my eyes for few minutes, I started to hear some strange fast talk, I was now convinced that someone was chanting something in such a way it sounded like some witchcraft spells I watched in some movies, I thought it was my imagination, but it wasn't .....OH NO, THIS IS REAL...I mumbled it to myself...witches are real, I was scared, my heart started beating fast, then I decided to peep outside, I could seem them on the streets because the street light were on ,they were chanting the spells closed to Griffin compound, I became frightened and I became worried about Griffin, as I was looking, I was almost caught by one of the witches.
