The knock on the door jolt me back to normal realm, i had stop thinking about my dad coming back because it orchestrate hunger into me and that really hurts seriously.

My thinking about where he went was that he is there for peace but whatever it is in me don't want to think about it.

When i heard the knock in the first instance, i seriously wish he was the one but i was disappointed, it was Bennet that came, he was was exhausted with fear.

I don't understand what was happened or should i say i don't know what is happening, he looked tattered.

His face was dry along with red blood that seem to have been there since 7days, even his cloth was very dirty and stain with dried blood as well.

He fall on the sofa and stare at me for hours, i wonder why his cloth is not soak because rain just stopped but i don't want to ask question.

He lift his head up in an obvious agony, he sat right with his back rested on the sofa very well, he placed his legs on the table and said in fear and sympathy; I saw your dad, but am sorry.

As i hear him tell me his sorry, i thought my dad is dead.

Hot tears form in my eyes, my stomach mixed up things i could refer to as nonsense, my palm turned to fist and a beautiful anger dwells in me.

God will not forgive them, there current generation till the 15th will suffer and know no peace, Holy Mary mother of God will never smile at them henceforth, i said in a serious pain.

Be careful of what you say brother, your father is a strong man, his badly injured but his not dead.

Then my heart smiles, the gnomes of my imagination flew away and i was renew seriously, even though i heard when he said he was badly injured but whatever it is he must not die, his all i got.

I was still there looking at Bennet as he stare at me, his eye look very cool but not normal, it was not colourful at all and looks very scary.

He smile in pain and gesture to me that he needs water, no water anyways but i went to the kitchen to get him water from the one that dropped from the leaked roof. When i came back to meet him he had died.

His head had turned back, his tongue out and smelly saliva drops sluggishly like a snail's.

I don't know when the cup i was holding dropped, my heart skip and almost immediately my feet fail and betray me as it collapse and i sat helplessly on the ground.

My eyes was dry but when i imagine my dad been shot and lay in the pool of blood, i cried out loud.

It was after i thought about my dad that Bennet death touched me deeply, he was my cousin and since my mom died and my father stopped visiting the workshop, he also joined the ruffians in downtown and since then he had become a vagabond and life is obviously not smiling at him.

He thought me about love once and since then i have been hoping to fall in love when the time comes.

I kept looking at his body on ground, i don't even know what to do about it.

I want to burn it but i was hungry and the thought came that i should eat it after all am hungry.

I quickly wave off the thought because he his my cousin and my father will be very disappointed in me if i do that.

I summon courage and burn him at the backyard but i look at the burning body in regret that i should have eaten it, after all my father will know about it only if i tell him, how does the thought matters again anyways because i have burn it already and thee is no remedy.

If i could i would turn back the time, i would stop my dad from going out that day, because i don't want to lose him like i looses Bennet and my mom.

Back in the house, alone with my thought, my stomach still want but nothing is available and i can't help situation.

It was almost an hour after Bennet died that i notice a sack at the door, probably he came with it.

I check the sack, wow!! i saw bread then i heard a knock.
