White Water - Episode 1
Hello guys, this is another story. And i really hope you like this. Well, i won't disappoint you......
NOVEMBER 1762
The thunder rumbled like a troubled stomach, the day itself is sluggish and uninteresting.
Even nature looks weak and life seem to be exhausted of hope.
The twinkling star fade away some minutes ago.
The cloud formed a triangle shape as it rumbled rampantly.
I sat on my bed staring at an unseen thing on the ground.
It was about to rain but what does it mean to me anyway.
My father is not back.
Why?
"The sky is about to cry"
i heard from the outside.
I stood up and walk towards the window, just to see how the street lords and co had made out of the once peaceful arena and now a beautiful but boring ghetto.
I live in an old house my memory could call mansion with my father.
Things weren't easy in suckcity especially in the east village where i stay with my dad.
But it just me and me alone in our mansion, my dad was out to sort something i have no idea of.
He stopped visiting the workshop this days since it was said that war will come.
The Portuguese wanted to take charge by adopting slaves from Africa and recruit them and start war with them, that was why some child have the panic of growing older.
It the 7th year of the reign of king John the fourth in the year of our lord 1762.
The town is hell to visit and that orchestrate me staying indoor always except seventh day which am to visit the church.
It was late November and in few weeks to come Christmas season round frippery would soon be relevant again, but am afraid it won't be interesting because even the church is not at peace and Downtown is astray.
My mom died few years ago at Downtown even when things were still very cool.
She was murdered but i choose to forget how she died because it really hurt seriously.
The town is full of ruffians and everyone act ungodly using the war news as a cover up.
Ungodliness is ruling in downtown and suckcity.
The church tried it best to protect some youth whom were ready to be of God, one of which was me.. Thanks for reading, please comment.
