The Visitor - Episode 2
Joshua did not understand why his wife was acting the way she was or maybe he did he just didn't want to think that that was the reason she was avoiding him. They were both in this together and all he needed was her by his side.
One of the senior pastors in the church, Pastor Tobi went up to the altar after the praise and worship segment.
"Praise the Lord somebody!" He shouted into the microphone and he got Hallelujah from the crowd, some members stood up from their seats to wave their hands vigorously to God before they sat back down
"The Lord is good..." Pastor Tobi was saying Joshua could not think straight. It was still hunting him what happened and he could not shake the thought of what would become of him if everyone got to know about what he had done . They would hate him, that one he was sure of
"... Let us welcome our Father in the Lord, Pastor Joshua" Joshua heard the thunderous claps of the people as some of the members shouted. He stood up smiling even though he could feel his heart aching and his wife was not making it any better as he could feel her eyeing him and just as he was getting up he heard her say under her breath "Go and do your thing, hypocrite" He paused for a minute but in order for him not to look awkward he went on to the pulpit.
The members were still cheering and he brought up his hands to silence them. "God is good..." He said

. "...All the time" The members echoed back "I want you to turn to your neighbor and say 'neighbor', you don't know the good thing that God has done in my life"

Tutu turned behind her to tell her neighbor what Joshua said and as she was telling the old woman behind her... She saw her.
Or was that her?
She looked carefully and then she realized that she was the one. She could not mistake that face.
What was she doing here?
Tutu could feel her heart beat increase and for a moment she thought she saw the lady smile at her as she adjusted her shades. Tutu turned back to face Joshua who was still smiling as he watched people carry out the instruction he gave. Tutu hoped that he would look at her just so that she can give him a warning signal about the visitor in the church but then it occurred to her that she had been giving him a tough time and he may not want to look at her.

"Today is a great day and I am grateful to God for my life, for the life of my beautiful wife" Joshua said turning towards Tutu and that was when he knew that something was wrong, she was saying something with her eyes that he could not understand but he didn't want to look at her for so long in order to not raise suspicions
"And mostly for the lovely people of God. God laid it in my heart to preach about Forgiveness. Can somebody say Forgiveness..."

She knew it was time. She noticed the little moment between the pastor and his wife and she was so sure that the pastor's wife was trying to let him know of her arrival but the man looked lost. She enjoyed the shock that was written on the wife's face when she saw her, she decided to give her a little smile to scare her more. It was indeed epic...
But now it was time for the real show.
