Hours turn to days, days turn to weeks, every moment Alfred spent with Agbeke was magical.
They could talk, ( she said she liked listening to his voice) and go on walks, still goodbye was hard to say.
She was the missing piece to his heart's puzzle. The error at not discovering this early scared him, it scared him that people really did not know what a good person is till the meet a bad one. Fummi was not bad entirely but, she wasn't good for him . Yet, he struggled so much at wanting something that didn't look like a possibility.
This is what they mean by the adage 'love is blind', it always seems to happen with the one you least expect it with.
Agbeke was an enthusiastic girl, though this was shown to those who must have earned her trust. She would come around often, soon they found locations for their quest and marked them with their presence. It was Paradise.
She sometimes said the funniest things, she made him laugh and asides laughing hard, she made other things in his body hard. Self control had to be a must, he did not want to give a bad impression.
The law of attraction is simple, the more you feel excited around someone, the more your emotions take the lead and drag your logic in the mud. However, it's difficult to think around someone as beautiful as Agbeke.
She is tall, elegant, had the skin tone of a well heated calabash

. Her smile was bright and complimented her well proportioned breast, her legs were long and as though she realized her build, she never wore anything apart from trousers.
She was warm, receptive and loving, kind, trusting, her innocence glistened in her laugh. She was not perfect, but in his eyes she was close.
They could appreciate simple things about each other without any stress, this was enough to make Alfred's logic surrender to her spell.
If only Alfred knew what he did to her, certainly she had fallen in love before, but not like this. She loved that he was smart and how he spoke with so much vigor, and yet many other reason too ludicrous to reveal.
How would he feel if she told him of the moments when all she stirred at when they babbled were his lips, she wanted him bad, bad in a good way. She had plummeted into love, this was not something to hide any longer.
She loved hearing him compliment her, she loved it when he held her, when he hugged her, when he put his arms around her. She enjoyed locking arms together and holding him when they walked the street.
She understood their partnership, theirs was a flexible love, no one took charge, they both simply had authority over each other.
Alfred could go on talking about her to his friends and Ezinne's eardrums clanged with the recieving of excess information from Agbeke.
"Admit it" she said.
"Admit what?" Alfred asked bewildered.
"You smile a lot when we're together".
Alfred did not answer immediately but rather thought about the days Fummi stood him up and how he would have to look for something else to do. Truly she has been one of the best things that had happened to him, and no matter how smooth he wanted to play it, she brought out the emotions he had one time buried deep.
" I remember when I prayed for someone like you" he said that with a fixed gaze on her.
"Awwwn, so did God answer?" She replied with a smirk.
"He let the answer stay beside me all the time" Alfred started.
"I just had to find it". He had just finished explaining this words when he felt her grip tighten on his hold. He leaned forward with faith and hope though scared she might turn his gesture down.
He wasn't sure she was going to kiss him just because he had said something beautiful, it was a risk he took gladly. Kiss or no kiss, his emotions had already brought forward his head towards hers.
She accepted his lips to his surprise with hunger and welcoming, it was a kiss he will live to remember as both bodies scavenged each other's lips.
She kissed him with a craving and this brought with it an intense pleasure, he reached for her neck leaving a trace of hickys. Her arms pulled him closer, closer than he had dreamed of.
Alfred was hungry for her body as immensely as she hungered for his. But, she had a secret, she had never done this before. He recalled how on one of their conversations she had told him not directly, but as a matter of saying, that she wasn't ready for s*x, and this was the reason she remained unattached.
Nobody wanted someone they couldn't have s*x with. She wanted love, not money, not s*x(yet), not possessions.she wanted someone to love her truly.
" Agbeke" Alfred said almost in a whisper.
"Yeah" she replied still breathing from the deepness of the last kiss.
"Are you sure you want to do this now?" He said as he took her in his arms so she sat on his legs facing him.
"Am not sure what I want" she said.
He saw that she was embarrassed either because of what she must said or the fact that she covered her face with her hands. To him, it made her more beautiful rather than vulnerable as she felt.
"Then I think it's best we wait till you are sure then" he said laughing at how red she had become.
Agbeke was about saying something when Alfred joined their lips together again, what she had to say can wait because, no matter what it could have been, she was not going to let it ruin the beautiful moment they were sharing.
Ever since Alfred left, Fummi was compelled to know her roommate better, of course they knew each other, they were roomies. But, she started paying notoriety to things she didn't notice before.
Bukumi usually left the house in the morning for class, but she doesn't actually go to class. She also takes off at night to 'read' so she says, but on two occasions she wasn't in the halls she would tell Fummi she is going to.
Fummi also noticed that apart from the new attention she was getting from the boys in her class, the girls seemed distant from her. That should be a good thing, that the girls in her class wasn't talking to her, maybe it is because she is not on their league. They could not equate with a personality like her, or maybe, it was her personality.
Maybe she is not as sweet as she assumes, what ever the reason was she had to find out, she had to try. She started dialogue with some of the females but all seemed awkward, they had nothing in common.
She would not have been in this mess if her boyfriend didn't have to take off to another state for that business trip. She needed Alfred back, she did not care if it was for the selfish reason of having company for the mean time.
It went past that if she looked at how boring and empty her life had become, nobody to encourage her to read, nobody to talk with while they waited for the next lecture, nobody to scout new shops to  shops in, nobody was simply around. She wasn't Bukumi who had friends to visit regularly.
Bukumi though said one time that she hates people, so how will she have friends Fummi wondered, seems she barely knew her rommie after all. But that was not her priority fight now, she needed Alfred back and how she would go about it was the question that neede solving, not Bukumi's dual personality.
Fummi went to class that afternoon, though the lecture was not what she hoped for(not that any lecture is) but, she was able to do the one thing she felt was the motive of the class. She had somehow managed to slip a note into Alfred's book without him noticing.
'In war you must know the enemy' and for Fummi her enemy was once her best friend and her war was making peace with her enemy again. She knew that he was always early to class, not in an early way, but early in a very okay punctual person kind of way.
He always kept his book on the seat he desired to sit on for any lecture(he had not had a steady seat since the one he shared with Fummi was no longer an option). Fummi had successfully slipped her note without been noticed, and he she knew Alfred enough, she can bet he will read the message.

Dear Alfred,
I know it's been a while since we did this whole letter thing,
but am not sure you would talk to me if I came up in person.
I know you really wanted the best for me, and I have been really
lonely since you left. I used to think I can do with just Bukumi, but
I don't really get her anymore. What I'm trying to say is................
I MISS YOU!!! I don't mind swallowing my pride to say it, just come
back lets talk about our dispute.
                    X.O.X.O
                    Fummi
Did he miss her? Yes. Was he happy without her? Yes. Should he talk to her? He wasn't sure.
But somebody needs to be the mature one (so his ego made him believe), and the line in the note about Bukumi, should he tell her? No, not now.
Alfred was delighted to speak with Fummi but, he doesn' know how Agbeke will feel about this, it is not that he was going back to loving Fummi, it was just talking.
"It's fine" Agbeke said.
"Are you sure?" Alfred asked, with confusion as to why it was "fine" to talk to Fummi again.
"As long as you don't lose you're friend and you're happy, it's fine".
He really appreciated that she was okay with this, because he really wanted her to be.
Agbeke can be understanding but this character was because she kept all her emotions bottled up inside, she neither said how she felt or what she was feeling, she only believe you will figure it out. ( this is an all girls trait apparently)
She found a way of giving mysterious a new meaning a new definition. She said it was fine so he went on with his plans of talking to his friend, if only he knew what a girl really meant by 'it's fine'.
Fummi waited at the park, she sat on their seat waiting for Alfred, he was already five minutes late but, the patience was worth the circumstance. She would do anything to get her best friend back.
She saw him strolling in, and in a long while she knew his presence here means they would not be looking on to another absence if all goes right. They talked at length about varieties of stuff, life, school, family, love.
" So it appears that people actually like you than me in class" she said with a frown that was only built on laughter.
"No, they love me more than you" he replied with a proud smile.
"How's Agbeke?" She asked. ( schools have no secret, people must hear things).
"She's fine, she actually made me come" he replied.
"Remind us to thank Agbeke later" she said.
This was funny because it was a while they used the  'us' word. It was getting late Alfred and Alfred neede to go. His instinct told him this was the right time to leave, and he knew to well not to doubt his feelings.
"Thanks for showing up" Fummi said as she stood up herself.
"Welcome, and as for Bukumi, there is more than meets the eye." With that he waved and left.
Fummi had more questions to ask but the way he had hurried off she knew she was not going to get any answers, she went home thinking and his last words really sounded familiar, it was like something he had said before.
Bukumi was in the bathroom and did not hear her roommate come in, so she sat on the bed only to be brought back from the oblivion of her thoughts by the buzzer in Bukumi's phone vibration.
" meet me at the usual hotel by .............". The message was from the same number she had as darling in her own contact, what was she to do, she wanted to know more and not to be caught doing so. She stepped out of the apartment as quietly as she had come in.
She made up her mind to follow Bukumi( a stupid idea, but at least it was an idea). Bukumi stepped out from the bathroom, picks up her phone, reads her text and smiles. There was a complication though, which of the 'usual' was he talking about.
She called his number to confirm and got the real location. Fummi overheard the entire conversation from the window outside, she knew she had needed Alfred, but she didn't realize how much until now.
Their reunion brought more than truth than her relationship had. She waited for Bukumi to leave before she got her self into the house again looking as pale as someone who had just seen a ghost. She did not know whether to follow Bukumi or to wait and later confront Dele.
She paced the room shaking with a strange sensation she knew wasn't shock. She was not ready for what was happening and prayed hopefully that this was a bad dream. Reality had a bad way of informing you of it's control at the worst times.
She saw the mess Bukumi made on the bed, an array of lingerie. Seems that Bukumi really wanted to leave an impression, she could not find it any longer. She had already heard the 'location', she wasn't crippled, then why couldn't go there and see for herself what her mind had already known.
The location was in town, a decent looking hotel that blossomed with sparkling light and bubbly personalities. It was happening!
She heard Bukumi repeat the room number during her conversation that it was too hard to forget. She approaches the door, takes a deep breathe, tries to open the door, and luckily for her it opened. Seems like they were in a hurry to get on with what they had intended to do.
Eyes wide open struggled to believe the picture in front of her. Her best friend was n*ked with her boyfriend that was supposedly on a 'business trip.
