The Bodyguard - Episode 15

 

Theo Mcdonough

"Drop your gun Theo"

 He dropped his gun.

He grew unnaturally still as he watched Xavier wheel his father towards him.

"Thank you Xavier. You may leave"

 The captain announced and Xavier left the house.

"So where is she?"

 The captain inquired as he pressed a button on his wheelchair and it made a whirring sound wheeling him into through the passage.

"Dad, stop. You're invading my privacy"

 He said without thinking.

The captain pressed another button and the wheelchair turned around wheeling him towards Theo.

"What?"

 The captain inquired just a few inches from Theo.

"I'm sorry, Captain" 

He corrected himself; the captain had always warned him never to call him father or dad or papa or anything relating to daddy.

"Where is she?"

 The captain asked again.

"Where's who?"

 "Stop playing dumb with me . Where is the girl whose father killed your mother?"

 He asked again more loudly this time.

He tensed as he saw a sleepy Allison emerge from the passage; she was rubbing her eyes and was wearing one of his shirts.

The captain turned around following his gaze.

Allison Winters

She woke up and Theo was not next to her, she hated being left alone in bed it scared her.

The duvet fell off revealing her nude form; she smiled as she remembered last night.

It was wonderful, she'd never felt that way all her life, she remembered her mother's words.

"Baby, when you meet the ONE, you would know The ONE, no way. Was she falling in love with Theo? She admitted she loved being around him, she was always seeing his face whenever she closed her eyes, she was always longing to see him, she was always worried about him, she wanted to know how his day went, she wanted to be there to support him whenever he was weak, she"

 "Oh no"

 She gasped.

She was in love with Theo She didn't even know his surname, but it better sound nice because she would love to marry him.

She gasped, she was being delusional a warm bath would wash all those crazy thoughts off.

She heard a sound like a bicycle being ridden in the passage, a bicycle? Where was Theo by the way? She slipped into one of his clean T-shirt, it smelled like him and she found herself sniffing the shirt and closing her eyes to allow the smell sink in.

She stepped out of the room and saw Theo with somebody, probably Peaches, but why was he in a weird chair.

She rubbed her eyes and her view was clearer, it wasn't Peaches.

Theo locked gazes with her and she smiled but he didn't smile back, his face was devoid of any emotions.

The dude in the wheel chair turned to face her, it was a bald old man in a wheelchair and he looked like he was in his late sixties or something.

"Well, hello"

 The old man said and wheeled towards her he picked her right hand and kissed it.

She giggled if he probably knew where her hand was last night he wouldn't kiss it.

"Theo why don't you introduce me to your friend here" 

Theo's expression wasn't very friendly, who the hell was this man? Did he think he could just walk in here and make Theo gloomy?

"Captain, Allison

. Allison, Captain; my father. Wait, what? Y-y-your f-f-father"

 She stuttered, who calls their father

'captain' by the way.

"The one and only. Retired naval officer, you know I trained Theo to become a bodyguard. Nice to meet you" 

He said and bowed slightly in his wheelchair. Awkward.

"Do you guys have any food in the house? I'm starving" 

The captain announced.

For some reason Allison didn't feel comfortable with this man.

Theo cooked breakfast and while they all ate there was an awkward silence only the sound on cutleries hitting the plates could be heard.

"So, Allison what do you do?"

 The captain asked.

"I beg your pardon" 

"Do you have a job?"

 He asked rather bluntly.

"No, my father is rich"

 She replied rudely, he guffawed and hit the table with his right fist making everything on the table vibrate and some water spilled on her.

What did she say that was so funny?

"You look just like your mother"

 He muttered, he must have thought she didn't hear it but she did.

"You knew my mother?"

 She asked with wide eyes, He was caught unawares.

"Umm- Yes, yes I knew her, not very personally. But-but I saw her once or twice"

 He stammered.

He was lying, he knew her mother more than he was saying.

She turned to see Theo staring at his father with the same curiosity.

Something was not right, she could sense it.
