The Bodyguard - Episode 18

 

Theo Mcdonough

He paced the hospital's hallway, his breath quickened and his eyes darted around for the doctor who'd gone in to attend to Allison.

He watched Pam race towards him.

Pam and Mr. Winters were married but Allison had no idea, they had no idea how she would take it.

"Oh my God. What happened? You're her bodyguard aren't you supposed to be protecting her? You're so worthless"

She blurted and the burst into tears . He didn't say anything, he just let her rant.

The doctor came out and walked towards them.

"She's going to be okay. It's just a small case of alcohol poisoning"

He announced.

"What? She was poisoned? I don't get you"

Pam said all at once.

"No she wasn't poisoned; she just drank too much alcohol. She's lucky you brought her in when you brought her in, any little delay and she might have died"

The doctor said and excused himself.. They entered Allison's hospital room.

She was sleeping and she looked very pale.

Pam held his hand for support and he gave her a smile.

"I've known Allison since she was born, her mother was my best friend. She got married to Henry and she brought me to live with them; taking care of the house and Allison

Pam sniffled.

"She's going to be okay"

He assured her.

He turned to look at Allison again; her chest rose and fell in rhythm with her breath.

. He loved her and he wouldn't allow her experience any more hurt in her life. He sighed; his father would be disappointed.

Allison Winters Her lashes swept up and she blinked, she sat up and studied Theo with piercing scrutiny.

He was sitting on a chair with his head on the wall; sleeping.

He looked very uncomfortable.

His eyes shot open and she quickly fell back to the bed pretending to be asleep.

He chuckled

"I can feel your gaze on me"

She groaned and sat up.

"Have you been here a long time?"

She asked when she say the bags under his eyes.

"No"

He replied rubbing his neck; it must hurt.

"How long have I been here?"

She asked trying to stand, she felt dizzy and fell back to the bed.

"A day or less"

He replied and helped her to sit on the bed.

"What happened?"

She felt a pang in her head.

"You drank too much"

She was aware of his hand on her waist and she remembered why she was drinking.

She pulled away from him and watched his expression dull.

Pam cleared her throat and entered the room, Theo stood by the door,

"Bodyguard mode."

"How are you sweetheart?"

Pam asked.

"I have a headache"

She replied.

"That's a nice ring"

She stated, pointing her hand to the wedding ring on Pam's finger.

Pam hid her hands behind her back and chuckled nervously.

"I know, Ricky told me"

She announced.

"Know what?..... I'm so sorry, I really wanted to tell you"

Pam apologized.

"It's alright; you and dad deserve to be happy"

She smiled and Pam hugged her.

She locked gazes with Theo and he smiled back at her.

His eyes didn't seem so cold anymore.

The door opened and her father walked in accompanied by some huge guys in suit and dark shades, he looked really worried.

"Dad is anything wrong?"

She asked.

"Theo, these are your new co-bodyguards. Rashid and Tulio"

Her father announced; she saw Theo's eyes bulge from their sockets.

"Theo, these are your new co-bodyguards. Rashid and Tulio"

He watched with numbed horror as Mr. Winters introduced the new bodyguards to Pam and Allison.

These men worked for the captain, what were they doing here? He pulled Mr. Winters outside the room.

"Mr. Winters I"

"Theo, I cannot thank you enough for always saving my daughter. She's all I've got and if something were to happen to her__ I_I don't know what I would do"

Theo saw the sincerity in his eyes and for the first time he had second thoughts, second thought about his mission.

"What were you going to tell me?"

Mr. Winters brought him out of his thoughts.

Just then they both heard gunshots and glass shattering, Theo ran into the room with Mr. Williams behind him.

In the room, the window had a very big hole, big enough to fit Rashid or Tulio who were both missing by the way alongside Allison.

Pam was lying on the floor with a bullet wound in the middle of her forehead he bent down to feel her pulse; she was dead.
