Sonia The Eye Of The Goddess - Episode 1

 

      "Push it one more time my queen" said the mid wife to the queen of akuna kingdom!!!

"Yes yes haaaaa,(pushing with all her strength)

"Yes my queen,you can do it" said the mid wife(sweating all over, trying to deliver the queen's baby for over 3 hours)

Immediately the baby started coming with the leg,and not the normal way of coming through the head,this is really strange,never in their land had anyone gave birth to a child coming out through the legs before.

       The shout and cry of the queen of akuna kingdom as she was trying to force the baby out, caused a great lightening and thunder to strike heavily in the sky, making a very heavy mighty wind to blow strangely in the kingdom,the lightening and thunder storm struck directly in the vacinity exactly where the queen was given birth.

     With the last strength the queen had,she forcefully pushed out her baby,the mid wife said,it a girl, smilling,then she ordered the mid wife in a weak voice, without even seeing her baby to name her,'Sonia',

Immediately she gave up the ghost.
The king was called fort and was told about the happenings of all what took place,cause he knew his wife was having a very hard time,while trying to give birth,when he heard of the death of his wife he became sober,and was so sad,he had to take care of the child his wife left in his care,he named her Sonia,just making sure to fulfill the wish of his late wife.

      For days and months,he stayed without Food nor water, the king did not eat or come out of his room to address his counselors,and that elders of his kingdom,the whole kingdom loved their queen and mourn her for 88 days,for her spirit to reach the kingdom of no sorrows and pains,cause it is their custom and believe to perform rituals for every dead persons soul to rest and be with their ancestors where there will be no sorrows or pain,cause their believe that the Earth is full of sorrows and pains.

    The elders of the kingdom and chiefs of the king,were pleading for their king to eat and forget about what happened,so that his child will know that she has a father even if her mother died while trying to give birth to her,cause it will be a sad moment with the child if someone else tells the story to her, when she grows up and found out that her mother died in her own birth, while her father died cause of the death of his wife the queen. So he should be strong cause of his only child,the king thought about it and accepted to stay strong for his child, cause he  thought that for a child to come out from the mother's womb through the legs,and everything was different on the day she was given birth,is not an ordinary child,so he needs to be alive to see her grow and train her to become strong and not to depend on anybody even if he dies later on,since she is a girl child she should know her left and right,even her way in and out.

In the night,in his dreams he saw his late mother, sitting on a rock in the river holding a baby,then she look up to him and said he should be strong and take care of their baby, that she is not just an ordinary girl,she is going to rule and lead her people in the kingdom,and there is going to be a great war in the kingdom of akuna,the neighbouring kingdom will join hands to attack the kingdom of akuna in the nearest future,so he should stay alive to train Sonia their child,that she is a strong girl,and the goddess of their land is with her, immediate she changed to the king's wife the queen,she was not actually his mother but change to his mother to talk to him,when he saw that it was his wife,he called her to come to him,but she said they will see in his next life

Then she drop the child in the river, strangely the child walked happily to meet him,when the child was closer to him,he saw that it was Sonia his baby,he carried her,and with a flash his wife that was sitting on the river, stretch her hand something like light came out from her hand and entered his body, immediate he was strengthen cause he was weak, through out the days he starved himself of food.

  He woked up and quickly checked his child,baby Sonia was busy smiling at him,in the middle of the night so strange, at least she supposed to be asleep,it then drawn on him that truly she is not an ordinary child,he must not let her break,he will take care of her just like and egg.

Sonia grew up to be a very beautiful young woman of 18,she was really beautiful like a goddess,she was friendly, respectful and obedient to her father who was the only family she had, except for her father's brothers child monie,who had been her best friend and sister,they were almost the same age mate if not for month that made it looks like monie senior's her, beauty was also speaking in the body of monie,but that of Sonia was  extraordinary different,the two girls do their things equally as if they were born as twins.

    Sonia was a young woman who loves dancing,and singing her voice was as if it was that of an angel.
She sometimes does her things strangely and she fears no one. There was a time were she and monie,with other girls and boys went to the stream to fetch water,tho as a princess she was told not to go and fetch water from the stream,that the maids in the palace will do chores,she refused saying why will she let the maids do all the things in the palace,while she that is growing to become a woman stays at home doing nothing,that she won't let that happen,she needs to also know how to do things like a woman she was.
  She started crying and said is it because my mother is not alive that why they had to keep her boundage in the palace,that if it were her mother,she would have thought her how to do things womanly and not one warrior fighting and under going training every day,the king was not pleased with the way she spoked and cried,he then told her in a sad an emotional was that,he was only protecting her,and not depriving her from womanly duties.
she looked up and saw how sad he was,she then said to him, father let me know how to do the things women does in their house so I won't depend on any one,and it also a very important thing I learn,so in case of an emergency I can be able to play wise and save,than the enemies seeing me as a warrior, and I can always play with their minds by pretending to be a pretty maid in case if anything happens. The king thought about it and understand her predicament,and also he thought that it was a favour as well.
  He let her go with her friends to the stream,so she can be happy, cause he never wants to see her cry,or anything happens to her, while on the way to the stream,one of the girls shouted and started running before other boys and girls  joined the first in running as well,she asked them what made them run away, and refuse to go to the stream, cause since she and monie with few girls at the back,they were not able to see what was at their front,the girls replied her saying that,there was a snake at the middle of the road,and it is raising up it head wanting to throw it self at them, biting them.

Sonia then went forward to look at the snake the boys and girls are afraid of, when she saw the snake and the snake saw her,she bent down and stretch her hand to the ground,the snake saw this and went forward to her hand and crawl into her hand without doing her any harm,then she carried it up in her body,tho the snake was big,but not so big but was able to make anyone who saw it be afraid. When the girls and boys saw this act she created,they were all marvelled and surprised that it did not harm her, Sonia smiled to the snake and drop it back on the ground,the snake quickly crawled and went back into the bush,the girls and boys started bombarding her with questions,but she never gave them a reasonable answer,even monie was surprised at the act,but never asked her in front of other girls,cause she is a kind of person that understand and won't want to add salt to injury.

    The girls and boys began to fear her, cause it was strange how a human will carry a very poisonous snake and drop it on the ground without hurting her,they all went to fetch their water and went to their various houses,when monie saw that they were free from the palace duties,she then decided to ask Sonia how she made the snake to obey her by crawling into her hand without biting her.
