Rose - Episode 22
It was sunday morning and Lanre's folks were at the church. Lanre dragged himself into the bathroom, then he heard a knock. He tied a towel around his waist and opened the door. Standing on his porch was Ufuoma, she was clad in pyjamas and her afro was in dissaray. Her eyes were red from crying and she didn't have her glasses on. "Please can you help me? I don't know where I am and..." she burst into new tears.

. "Ufuoma are you okay?" Lanre probed. Ufuoma wiped her tears and cleaned her eyes with her palm and she saw a blurry image of a boy clad with only a towel around his waist. "It's me Lanre" He restated. "Oh my God Lanre! Boy, am I glad to see you" Ufuoma managed to smile.

The doorbell rang and Fejiro ran to open the door. "Sister Ufuoma!" he exclaimed. At the mention of 'Ufuoma' the whole family rushed to the door.Lanre and Ufuoma entered the house. Onome scrutinized Ufuoma while Thompson glared at Lanre. "She knocked on my door asking for help" Lanre explained to Thompson who was staring daggers at him

. "What happened to your palms?" Onome quizzed. Ufuoma raised her palms to look at them, Thompson took her palms and scrutinized it. "Where were you? And why do your palms look as if they've been cut" Onome nagged.
