Rose - Episode 18
Onome stared out the window as she washed the dishes. She recounted her conversation with Ufuoma yesterday. She dropped the plate she was washing and cleaned her hands with her apron. Ufuoma was convinced she ( Ufuoma ) was going crazy. Onome ascended the stairs, and raised her hand to knock on Ufuoma's door but stopped midway. Ufuoma had told her she never remembered leaving the school or even coming home, it was really hard to beleive . Onome turned the door knob and stepped into the room, the bed was empty and there was no sign of Ufuoma anywhere, she searched all the rooms in the house and still couldn't find her. She ran into the sitting room and picked up her phone to call her husband when she saw that the main door was wide opened.

"How does she look like?" the police officer with brown teeth and very bad breath asked Onome. After searching for Ufuoma everywhere they could think of, Onome and Thompson decided to report her missing to the police. "She's average heighted..." Thompson was cut short as Onome dropped Ufuoma's picture on the counter. "She's a fine girl" The officer declared.

"She's not like that" Onome shouted. "But you just said she's been acting very strange and..." "Mr police officer. We are certain she's missing, so just do your job" Thompson cut in. Thompson's phone rang ( Thompson is a doctor) and he talked to the person on the other line for some time. " Sweetheart that's doctor Fidel he said a girl who was hit by a car had just being brought into the hospital, I think it's Ufuoma"
