Running as far as her legs could carry her, she didn't want to get caught.She just witness the death of her master and his family, but she escaped luckily with her master's last child.
Looking at the baby brought fresh tears upon her eyes.She knew they were looking for the baby, but couldn't figure out why.
She got to a deforested area, her old legs almost gave up, she saw a young woman tilling the soil, quickly she ran to her.
"Please help me, she pleaded, looking around and making sure nobody was looking at them.
"How can I help you?, the young woman ask looking at the frightened old woman worriedly.
"Please take her with you, and run away, she said pointing to the baby.
"I'm poor and can't even take care of myself, how do you expect to take care of her? and how am I sure you did not abduct the baby, the young woman ask raising her eyebrows.
"Please believe me,they will soon be here.
"Who, she couldn't help but ask.
"They are called Red Blood, you don't know them,so please take her and leave this place, she pleaded with tears streaming down her old cheeks.
"Red Blood, the young woman repeated, she knew them of course."can't you take her with you?
"No matter what happens,I will still be caught, even if I don't get caught,I will soon be dead.I just want Pearl safe."
Just then a gunshots was being heard.
"Run!!
The woman quickly ran out of the place,a scream was being heard ,it was the old woman voice."I pray I am not making a wrong decision, she thought looking at the baby.
"I don't know why they are after you, but I'm going to protect you, with whatever it takes Pearl.
