I think cliche like 'a problem shared is half solved' is right. I had listened to danny story and I felt pity. Our parent are sometimes the root of our problems.

Danny had loved acting and his parent had forced him to study pharmacy against his will. He said he hardly knew his parent when he was young, the person he knew was his nanny, an old woman who took care of him. When I heard his story, I felt pity on him . It was far worse from mine, but nevertheless he shouldn't have turned himself to a truant. He could have study the pharmacy to please his parent and could still become an actor if he wants.

".....Not every actor in the industry studied acting" I had emphasized

I was able to convince him and I told him the next step to take before he could achieve anything. He must leave his old self and focus on becoming a new being, by so doing he would have to sacrifice so many things like leaving his old friends and making new ones. Danny and I had reached an agreement before he left my apartment and I was so determine to follow danny up.

Before I slept that day it was very late at night. I had thought of that day drama, I had laughed alone on my bed. It was very funny to me

. When I finally slept, I dreamt of this unknown girl. We were both in the garden playing and chatting, suddenly everywhere became dark and we couldn't see each other for some minutes. When the light finally overcame the darkness. I saw her in a ditch screaming my name until she sank till I see her no more. I woke up instantly sweating profusely, i didn't know the meaning of the dream. I began to wonder what the dream meant. My thought was disturbed by the sound of my alarm, so I woke up fully and started preparing for a new day.

I had planned to return the umbrella to her in her house and chat with her a little. So the two of us will go to school together. So I decided that later after school I would go to a mechanic workshop. My planning had been great. So I stepped out in my best attire and walked to her house holding the umbrella. As I got to the front of her house, my coward mind couldn't do anything for like ten minutes. So I stayed outside. 

I dropped the plan of giving her the umbrella at home and I began to go to school, I had dropped by my car and I had inspect it to check whether everything was intact before taking a cab to school.

As I got to school, I went to the second row in the front and settled down there. I had began to shed my old skin and put on a new one. So I left the back sit and retire to the front. The lectures were fun and I enjoyed it. Few minutes to the end of the class, I saw a shadow that looks like danny entering through the back door. He wore a sun shade and a cap but I recognized him instantly. He went to the back and sat there. I knew it would have been difficult for him but am was happy he summoned up courage and came. When the class was over I went over to him.

"Danny, is this really you?"

"Yes" he said beaming me a smile "it was really difficult, I have been standing outside for more than twenty minutes. I just didn't know what pushed me inside at that hour, I don't know what made me enter"

"I understand,at least, it is better than not coming at all" I said

"Thanks man, you are really a helper" Danny said and I was really happy I could have impacted in someone's life "I love you bro" he stood up and hugged me.

At first I felt ashamed because all eye were on me. Everyone were looking at the two of us but I didn't mind, at least not anymore. So I held him closer and felt proud of myself.

Danny and I left school together. He didn't bring his car to school, so we decided to take a cab together. On our way out of the department, I saw the unknown girl also on her way home. So I ran to meet her with danny walking behind me.

"Excuse me" I screamed from behind but to my surprise she began to walk fast and I kept on screaming. The more I screamed, the faster she walks. Then I ran towards her, catching up with her.

"Excuse me" I called from behind and I touched her shoulder, I should feel electric shock. So she turned and looked at me with rage in her eye and I feared. "I wanted to return your umbrella" I continued with an innocent face and I could see sign of relieve on her face. Maybe she thought I was one of those guys that disturb girls, well I was going to disturb her also but not in such manner.

"I thought it was......." She said with a pause "never mind" she continued but I understood what she meant perfectly. I knew some guys were always disturbing her, so maybe she thought I was one.

"Thanks anyway" she said jerking me from my thought "what department are you?" She asked and I gave her a stern look. She must have really forgotten me, maybe what I did was not much of a big deal to her, maybe it was normal to be corrected of your mistake, maybe I overreacted making a lot of fuss out of it.

"Pharmacy department" I said simply and she raised an eye brow

"What level?"

I already knew that was going to be her next question so I stayed calm under the hot sun ready to answer any question she threw my way

"Am in my third year"

"Really?" She said and I could see surprise in her eye but I seriously don't know why she was surprise cause we have met before "...and you don't know me"

"I don't know you" I said sharply and felt awkward afterward

"Guess you don't come to school regularly cause am kind of famous which I detest" she said and I merely nodded "am also in my third year, pharmacy department"

I just merely hummed, knowing fully well I must keep up the act just to get her.

"Its hot, are you going home?" She asked me after looking at her wristwatch and joy suddenly clouded my heart and I was so happy she asked.

"Yes I am" I said gladly and it became so obvious that I was happy.

"Then let's go together" she said and I began to blush. So I signalled danny who have been watching us from distance.

"Am Joseph but people call me Joe" 

"Sasha" she said beaming me a smile "I would prefer calling you Joseph"

So Danny joined us and I introduced him to her as Danny but she waved it off and called him by his real name Daniel. I then discovered she was free to people. We took a cab and we alighted on the road down to the house.

. I had seriously hated trekking but to get her I had to be normal, drop my Ego and believe like every normal kid and not like some rich spoilt brat.

We trekked the rest and i could see stress in Danny eye, guess he hadn't trekked it before but he just have to do it today for me. When we got to her house, we all stopped and I gave her the umbrella.

"I hope to always see you around" I said softly and she smiled and entered the house. I waited for some minutes till she vanished into one of those rooms.

So Danny and I left her house, I already knew thousands of questions await me from danny. Questions like, who is she? Where did you meet her? She is not your standard? What about Melissa? What would become her fate?

So I began to answer those question one after the other. I met her by fate, she is my messiah and I saw disgust in his eye but I didn't mind, I only knows what is best for me. She is my girlfriend to be, Melissa is a thing of the past , a parasite in my life. Though I hadn't complained but I was not ready to waste any more of my years with a parasite, with Melissa I haven't had planned to think about my future but meeting her some few months back, I had thought of my life , I have had a renascence. And to have a new beginning, you will have to take some steps and Melissa was one of the steps I took. Even Danny was also a step I took but he had changed now.

As we got home, I thought of Melissa and how to discard her. I knew it might be difficult for me but I just have to. With her I have a blur future but with Sasha, a clear and unforeseen future.
