It's been ten months since Ayo and Kore started dating. Ayo was at the salon this evening, doing hair and it was almost done when her phone dinged, she picked it up and read the text which was from Kore.

"Hey boo, do not stay too long at the salon. Remember our weekend getaway starts this evening."

This brought out smiles from Ayo and she could not wait to get home. Kore had first told her at the beginning of this week that they were going for a weekend getaway in Dubai . She had been so excited. They planned to drop Itunu off at Lara's place after Ayo had asked her and she had accepted. Then they will catch a flight to Dubai. Ayo has been ringing it in Itunu's ears all week so that he can prepare his mind, soul and body that he was going to be at his Aunt Lara's place all weekend.

She got home some thirty minutes later and knocked on her apartment door. Itunu opened the door and she said,

"How are you, mister?"

"Fine Mum."

"Where's Kore?"

"Kitchen. He's doing the dishes."

"What did you people eat?"

"Toast and scrambled eggs."

"Eh hen, so you people enjoyed yourself very well and cleared the dishes when you saw I'm around, abi?"

"Mum! Of course not."

"And why are you here when Kore is doing the dishes? Iwo omo yii, o o fe nkan se rara. Kore!"

"Yes baby." Kore appeared by the kitchen's entrance cleaning his hand with a napkin.

"Why didn't you allow this boy to do the dishes?"

"It's not necessary."

"You are spoiling him and you know it is bad."

"What is the big deal in doing dishes for him?"

"There is a really big deal there

They both went to Itunu's room. He was lying down tapping her iPad furiously. She went inside and sat on his bed while Kore stood at the entrance, resting by the door frame.

"Honestly, I don't know if that iPad is mine anymore." Ayo said.

"Mum! You just distracted me." Itunu whined.

"And so? Let me have my iPad. Kore is taking you to your Aunt's Lara's place now." Ayo informed.

"Okay Mummy." Itunu said.

Ayo asked, "Have you packed your clothes and homework?"

He answered, "Yes."

"Yes ma." He replied.

"Ayo, your own sef is too much. My dear, let's go jo." Kore said beckoning to Itunu who was standing already.

"No hug for your mother, right?"

Itunu rolled his eyes before going to hug her.

"I always behave myself Mum."
