Eve - Episode 17
"What have you learnt?" White spoke from the darkest part of the room. None had ever seen the figure hidden behind the darkness but they could feel the power that leaked beyond there.
"We only learnt a name, but we have never heard of her" black responded
"And?" White asked impatient
"Sorry my lord, her name is Eve"
"Eve?"
White hissed in anger. Why is she here? White thought to itself. She should be back.
"My lord, what's wrong? Ash asked naively
"All of you leave my sight and you better start preparing a great deal to destroy this land because it's going to be harder than you think"
"What do you mean Lord White?" Grey spoke for the first time since their arrival this full moon.
"Leave!"
"OK ok" still dumb founded Mumiyi began to narrate what Eve had said "Shokè is dead, you are a god in her body" pointing to Ogun "and Ogun is the god Ogun, the famous god of iron and the two children I saw were Ibeji" her head felt blank even after repeating what Eve had said. "Let's say I believe all this, why did you take Shokè?"
"She was pure"
Mumiyi watched her with scrutiny

. Deep down she believed the take she was telling but human reasoning made it hard to know if they were fables or the truth.
"I have never heard the name Eve though" she stated with a fact.
"There are so many stories you humans haven't heard"
Mumiyo sat down on the bed thinking hard about what she had heard looking back at Ogun and then Eve till they heard a knock on the door.
"Princess, the Prince is here to see you"
"Thank you" Eve responded somewhat confused as they heard the servant's footsteps fade.
"The prince?" She asked looking to Mumiyo
"Yes, your fiance"

I know, I know, it' shorter than usual but I couldn' help it. I wanted to wrote something for y'all since I couldn't yesterday due to the light issue I spoke about but do enjoy.
