The sky was a clear-light blue. It was early in the morning, and there was no sign of one big or small fluffy clouds floating across the sky.

We all stood at the assembly ground, listening to the important information our lanky chafing principal had to pass to us. As everyone paid attention to him, I paid attention to my Prince Charming. Noticing every single things about him; how neatly ironed his school uniform was, how shining his shoe was, how brushed his hair was, how carved his hair was, and how every single thing of him was . But, staring at him brought back memories of Toyosi. 'Why did she leave?' had been the only question on my mind, since she left our school. The moment I thought I was getting to know her, and find out she wasn't the ogress I thought she was, she left. With no explanations, or last words. I've been bothered since then.

I ran my right palm up and down my left arm, to myself warm up as the breeze brought me out of my thought; my school was close to a forest, which made it mostly cold and breezy.
By the time, I tried to focus on our principal's speech, he was through. I had missed the information, I spent the time looking at the person who would never speak to me. "Dismissed," he rounded off

. We all scattered, and headed to our classes. All SS3 classes were downstairs because our principal said it was our exams period, our brains should remain cool, and climbing the stairs would make it hot. I chuckled as I remembered his reason.

Immediately I stepped into my class, which was the last class on the corridor; they were all shouting their sitting positions. I quickly turned to check if my spot was taken, but it wasn't. I released a breath I didn't realise I was holding. I walked to it quickly and brought out my brown rag from the side of my light brown purse to clean it. I was about to clean it, when Johnson one of the class clowns, dragged his chair to sit behind me. Immediately, 'That's my space' came from somewhere in the class. We both turned, only to face my Prince Charming. I was shocked as hell, but I didn't show it. "You didn't hear me? I said I'm staying there," he repeated, when Johnson didn't move. And at the sound of his voice, Johnson quickly moved his chair to another place.

He had never spoken to me before, that made me confused on why he wanted to sit behind me. Nobody sat behind me, they all didn't want to seat close to the window. My seat was the third seat, on the first row, close to the corridor window. I pretended that I didn't notice the little misunderstanding, and cleaned the chair, sat down and put my head on my desk.

Like in most wattpad high school books I had read, I noticed that high school was all about books and boys. I had no problem with my book, so all I needed was a boy, and that boy was Joseph. I've had a crush on Joseph since SS1, but I told no one, I wanted it to be a secret. Why? I didn't know. Joseph was that guy that most girls had a crush on, while I was Esse, the invisible. Everyone found whatever he said funny, even thought it wasn't. Whatever he did became a trend, no matter how silly it was. Everything about him was perfect, even if they weren't.

"I'm glad to be here with you people again!" Mr. Dimeji our huge intrusive government educator's loud voice came ringing through the class, making me lift my head from my table. He was that teacher that would come to class, even though he was sick. I didn't like him at all, his class could be fun sometimes and sometimes super duper dry. Thank God this week is revision week.

______
It was noontide and we were aimlessly playing and joking in my class. Amarachi and Dammy had brought their chairs to my table, so we could gist about wattpad books and their authors. We were lost in our discussion, when "Jospeh why did you decide to change your seat now, that we're in SS3?" caught our attention. By the time Tayo one of the class clowns finished asking his question, the whole class attention was on him, expect Joseph who's attention was on his hp Elite Book; we all reflectively turned to Joseph, to see his reply.

Joseph smirked as he huffed. "You only mind your business if it's booming," he sang in his beautiful bass voice, that had every girl falling. That sentence made everyone burst into laughter, making Tayo look like a fool. Tayo didn't mind, he laughed with us, and shoved it behind him. Good.

"Hmm...I salute you oh! Joseph the master! You're the best!" Ebuka one of the class clowns saluted Jospeh, putting his right hand on his forehead, giving him the 'wehdone sir' salute. "In fact you beat Dj Khaled sef! Baba oh!"

This made the whole class laugh again, including Joseph this time around. "Ode, that's where they will see you," Joseph say with a wide smile on his face.

Seems like this class is going to be different, seems like everything is going to be different, seems like my life is about to change.

Amarachi and Dammy stood up to get something from their seat. And "Hey" came from someone behind me, I freaked. My heart skipped, I could swear I wasn't breathing any more.
