Ariel went straight to her room with a huge grin on her face,

she sat on the bed and reflect at the moment Grey's lips almost touched her's 

I'm really accepting the bond, I don't think I want to lose Grey, and I'm sure Grey feels the same  way for me or he won't even try to kiss me, Ariel said smiling to herself.

She lay down on her bed smiling, until she heard a knock on the door

Come in, Ariel said 

Elena and Raguel walked into the room, which made Ariel sat up quickly,

her gaze shift between her parent's and she wonder why they are calm 

I hope they have not change their mind about Grey,  she said to herself but quickly shook the thought out of her mind, I can't bear being separated from him.

Mom, dad, is everything altight? Ariel asked 

Yes, Elena answer

How are things going on with you and Grey?Raguel asked 

I'm not removing the bond, Ariel answered panicking a little 

What? Raguel said a little stunned by his daughter words 

We are not here for that, Raguel said, 

Immediately he said that, Ariel body relaxed 

Why would you think that we will ask something like that from you? Elena asked 

Ariel shrugged, maybe because our family has a bad history with demon's 

It doesn't  matter what history we had with demon's,

Grey is your soulmate and you two deserve to be happy, Raguel said which made Ariel smile at her father.

So how is things going between you and Grey? Elena asked

Fine, I guess Ariel said with a smile, as her mind drift a little to Grey

It's definitely more than fine, Elena said, look how your face is glowing she added with a chuckle 

Ariel used her hands to cover her face, clearly embarrass

 

We actually came here to talk about your bond, Raguel said with a serious tone, which made Ariel straighten up and stare at her father 

You know you have yet to connect your bond with Grey,

the more you guys wait, the more both of you will fall extremely sick, you two will feel weak from not connecting the bond 

Your bond is very strong, it will make you two weak and it could  even lead to the point of death, Raguel said quietly

It won't get to that dad, Ariel said reassuring

She knows her feeling for Grey is getting stronger, and she believes sooner rather than later they will connect the bond.

It will just take a little patience, but it will definitely happen she said to herself 

I understand why you guys are taking your time, but the bond has to be connected, Raguel said 

Ariel nodded her head in understanding

I'm so glad you two are my parents, Ariel said with a smile

We are glad you are our daughter, Elena said puling her daughter into a hug, Raguel immediately wrap his hand around his daughter and wife.

Alright let's go downstairs for dinner, Elena said standing up, as she lead the way out of the room, with Raguel and Ariel following closely

 

They eat their dinner in silence, but Grey kept glancing at Ariel, every time he had to opportunity to, sometimes their eye's will connect at each other making them smile.

Their family just pretend as if they are not seeing them, but they discreetly watched them, and it made them really happy, especially Anna, she was happy for her son.

After dinner, the family retired to their various room, but Grey stood outside Ariel's door with her,

Grey wished he had agree to share a room with Ariel when he first came.

Good night, Ariel said softly 

Good night, Grey replied as he watched Ariel entered her room and shut the door

He stood there for a minute before he left for his room.

Ariel stood by her door, until she heard Grey's footsteps fade away,

she climb into her bed and settled under the cover with a huge grin on her face

She thought about Grey, and she couldn't wait for morning to come so she could see his face again.

 

The next morning Ariel woke up, she head to her bathroom to have a quick shower and head downstairs 

When she got there she was surprise to see Grey sitting in the living room,

normally Grey is always the last person to come downstairs but today is different 

When their eyes connect with each other they gave each other a beautiful smile which made Ariel double her step and sat next to Grey

Good morning, Grey said 

Good morning, Ariel said with a smile 

You were up early, Ariel said 

That's because I was waiting to see someone special 

Hmm, so who is that special someone, that made you wake up so early, Ariel asked 

"You" Grey said bluntly

Ariel blushed and averted her eye's from Grey which made Grey smile 

You know you are beautiful when you blushed, Grey said making Ariel cheek heat more making Grey chuckle softly

 

Few minutes later, they all head to the dinning table to have their breakfast, after then they all sat in the living room to watch a movie,

when they were done, Grey head to the door of the house,

while standing by the doorway he motioned for Ariel to follow him before he left

Ariel immediately stood up and was heading for the door before her mother stopped her 

Hey, honey I want to show you something Elena said, dragging Ariel along 

Can't it wait mom, Ariel said 

"No"

Ariel sigh and glance at the door before she followed her mother 

Grey was seated outside patiently waiting for Ariel, he wonder what was keeping her, he waited for one more minute before he stood and turned towards the door, but he bumped into Ariel who was coming outside 

Hey, Ariel said with a smile, sorry I'm late, mom wanted to show me something she added

It's okay, you are here now, Grey said, let's just go upstairs, Grey suggested 

Ariel nodded her head as she led the way upstairs 

I think my mom in there, Grey said when Ariel stopped at the door to his bedroom

Let's go to yours

Ariel nodded and walked to her bedroom, she was so excited because it's the first time Grey is coming into her room

Grey entered into Ariel's bedroom, he looked around the room,

you loving reading Grey said observing books that were kept on the table

"Yes I do"

Ariel sat on bed and observe Grey has he moved around her room, when Grey was done taking in every little details in the room, he sat next to Ariel 

 

They were both silent for a while, and Ariel thought maybe she should tell Grey about what her parents discuss with her, but instead of telling Grey what they discussed she asked him a question 

How did you get the scars on your back? She asked quietly

Ariel saw the way Grey's entire body stiffened when she ask the question, this can't be good, She said to herself 

Grey manage to loosen up a bit as he looked at Ariel in the face, Ariel remained quiet as she waited for Grey to speak 

It  took a while for Grey before he spoke 

Some of the scar's on my back is a result of fighting with my brother and while some where from my master and the others from Angels,

Grey said, saying the last part quietly

Who is your "Master"? Ariel asked 

The demon leader, my uncle, Beelzebub

Ariel shook her head, I can't believe your own uncle will do that to you 

Grey shrugged, without saying anything, he wanted to talk about the reason why he kills Angel but he decided against it,

I will surely tell her but not today, Grey said to himself 

You mentioned you have a brother, why is he not here with you and your mother, Ariel asked 

He is my step brother, his name is Josh Grey said quietly 

He and I don't usually agree, he believes my mother stole our father from his mother, Grey said 

Your parent's where not soulmate? Ariel asked 

"No"

I thought every supernatural being has a soulmate, Ariel said quietly

That's is the part that is so confusing to me, because I have tried several times to ask my mother but she never tells me anything, Grey said 

Ariel now understand why, Grey got angry with his mother the other time, he needed "answers"

I felt your pains when you were getting punished, Ariel said quietly making Grey snapped his head to look at her 

"You did'? Grey asked

"Yes"

Grey instantly felt guilty for putting Ariel in pains 

"I'm sorry" he said quietly, I'm really sorry he added 

Ariel shook her head at him, its not your fault she said 

But......

It's not  your fault Ariel said sternly cutting off Grey's word 

I'm just glad you are here now, she said with a smile 

Me too, Grey said equally smiling 

 

So your father told me something this morning, Grey said 

Ariel now remember when she came downstairs she saw her father and Grey discussing but she never really care about what they were discussing, because her eyes were glued to Grey's

What is it? Ariel asked

"Our bond" Grey said quietly

My parents also discuss it with me too, Ariel said 

But I understand if you are not ready to connect the bond, we can wait for a while, Ariel said quickly,

the last thing she wants to do is to pressure Grey into connecting the bond 

Do I look like I'm not ready? Grey asked 

"Are you"? Ariel asked 

"Yes" but only if you are ready too Grey said with a smile 

Ariel smile widen, I have be waiting to connect the bond for a while now, Ariel said

"Me too" Grey addmitted

Are you sure you want this? Grey asked 

I'm very sure, and I like you now already, so I don't see any reason why I will be reluctant

Ariel did not feel shy in telling Grey how she felt, because she knew Grey still had doubt 

Grey smiled at Ariel's word

I like you too, he said 

It's was in the tip of his tongue to tell Ariel he loves her, but he decided against it

Love is a powerful word to use at this stage, he knows their feeling for each other will grow more once they connect the bond
