Afonja - Episode 1
She looked down at the victim, a young boy in his early teens and a victim of his untamed lust. His eyes stared blankly ahead, tongue lolling out at the side of his blood-stained lips. Her hands reached to trace the gash on his forehead, solemnly watching blood trickle down his dark skin. She scrutinised his features; liquid amber orbs, plump pale pink lips and a finely chiselled face, he was definitely a master piece and sadly such a waste.
The more she stared, the more her heart twisted. Unfamiliar feeling of melancholy stirred within her and she melted.
Obatala would be furious . His masterpieces were given divine gifts from the gods and were to live longer days in ruling the earth. It was only sad that many of them ended beneath soil just before they began their fruitful years, all of which were courtesy of Hell’s imprint.
She sighed regretfully, wishing she could do something to bring back the life that had been lost but Iku had taken this one and whatever Iku touched, not even she could take away.
Summoning his soul, she whispered softly to his deaf ears and breathed on him cold air from her red lips.
From beside her, an aged man and woman rushed in, precisely his parents. ?ya’s heart wrenched at the pain etched on the man features and the tears rolling fast the woman’s cheeks

. Hurting and hysterical, ?ya watched as the mother ran to the body, flinching at the icy temperature before belting the loudest scream that shook the entire structure.
He was an only child… ?ya could only sigh and shake her head as she disappeared with the soul.
Hell shook with glee at the entrance of a new soul, Iku could feel his fingers itch in excitement, he was eager to get his icy hands of death around the new soul. He was one who derived pleasures from receiving the precious ones of Obatala. Taking his masterpieces was bound to incur his wrath and there was nothing more desirable.
